The S15 is broken, really really broken. I remove the turbo to repair some small cracks in my exhaust manifold to find it so much worse then we thought.

Sunrise was my first guess when mentioned the 'new' track. Sunrise, is at Nasu - I remembered this from a recent Sammit video "Skyline Destroys Everything". Also Noriyaro recently did a video "New drifting circuit and new JDM van" - he gets to do a ride along with the new owner on Sunrise, so there is a good POV of the track. Looks like it's gonna be a sweet sweet track! Looking forward to more great content!

Need too drill out those cracks at the ends to stop the cracks from expanding more . Or just get the mig/tig weld really hot maybe heat up the manifold a bit get heat into it before welding

Has had 3 puffed packs in my room. Definitely dont do a me and be dumb. But I knew these batteries were nearly dead. They saw mutiple crashes, my 2 hardpacks (couldn't balance charge them after), and a softpack that got punctured. They didn't puff up until running them again until they were close to cutoff. I always charge outside in the garage while I'm there. If you can, get a lipo alarm. Have it beep at around 3.4v per cell. Sometimes cells dont fully discharge the same, and one could be below the 3.2V if you set it right at voltage for cutoff, thus ruining the battery. Lost 2 others from this. With the hardpacks you have, and the rc you have, you would have to ram the rc head-on into a wall at with tires that have grip to actually damage the pack. Even then, maybe not. Besides damage to wires(my 2 hardpacks, balance wires got ripped, charging without balance caused them to puff), it would be difficult to damage the LiPos in the hardpacks. Just dont drop them standing up from waist and above height, and the only damage you can really do then is incorrectly charging. Which, most LiPo chargers can help you prevent doing that mistake. ALWAYS, Always charge with balance charging. I cant explain why without typing out a stories worth of text, but know it's a must. Keep the LiPos in the LiPo bag when not using, and its unlikely you will ever have a 'badtime' with your LiPos.

Grey cast iron can be welded to a certain extent, but some times it will crack again. Even the good Japanese can't change that. Do you have taken in account the additional weight of the aftermarket turbo with an extra support brace? The lining of the tubes looks weird. I think they should go straight down off from the cyl head. Yes yes, "tuning" has its pitfalls. Maybe you better buy an old Fiat 131 Racing. They have factory mounted lights in the engine bay....^^

Its called an Electronic Speed controller (ESC). However you went too cheap on the charger, that imax is a knock off and not a good one. For the radio and receiver you should use the( flysky GT5), the radio and receiver come as a combo, but you can buy more receivers and use the them in different vehicles with the same radio, however not at the same time. For the ESC the best cheap option out there is the Hobbywing ESC and they have drift combos with the motors too, brushless is better especially on heat dissipation and power draw from the Lipo battery but you can start off with the brushed motor just keep a small fan on it and don't run the rc car for more than 15 minutes continuous at a time with the brushed motor and Lipo battery. Pretty much all ESC's will work with a 7.4 lipo it just may not have a Fail-Safe and if you run voltage to low can destroy your battery.

cant fly lipos. Plenty of decent places to get rc gear in japan there isn't a point running cheap stuff. have NEVER heard of lipos going unless already puffed or using a shit charger or shit lipos.

It is called an esc which stands for electronic speed controller basically it tells the motor how fast to turn depending on the throttle input from the receiver that gets its signal from your finger on the throttle trigger

If you use the correct charger and correct charge rates the battery’s are not dangerous at all most lipo fires are a result of user error and improper use

some info typed up for a friend. LiPO batteries will have 4 ratings you need to be aware of first is voltage. 1 cell =3.7 volts 2 cell =7.4 volts 3 cell = 11.1 volts and so on. Second is mAh this is amount of stored energy or power. Higher number more power or longer run time this is explained below. Third and fourth rating is C rating or Max current(amps) and burst(some only have 2 C ratings the lower number is continuous and higher number for burst) some lipos only have continuous. Amps (current) can exceed c rating(continuous) for short time but never exceed burst or second number on rating example is 5000mah 50c 100burst or 50c/100c this is 50amps continuous and 100 amp burst. Burst is what it sounds like and if exceeded will make lipo puff up and is and is no longer safe for use. Battery capacity ah= amps in 1 hour mAh is ah ÷ by 1000 5000mah=5 amps for 1 hour 10 amps for 30 minutes 20 amps for 15 minutes 40 amps for 7 minutes 30 seconds 80 amps for 3 minutes 45 seconds 160 amps for 1 minutes 53 seconds 1000mah=1amp for 1hour 2amps for 30mins
