I mean, we've had puppet sitcoms before. The Muppet Show, Dinosaurs, Mr. Meaty if you count that.
@valenciageode252 жыл бұрын
@@sleepninja2350 Good point. A few human characters can help emphasize or offset the puppets, similar to Muppet Treasure island and Muppet Christmas Carol, where how the humans act helps with the puppets. Although I’m not sure if it would be better to completely ignore the puppet and human thing or to acknowledge it but treat the puppets as the normal ones.
@michael26362 жыл бұрын
@@valenciageode25 check out the show Greg the Bunny. It's a comedy with humans and puppets. They also acknowledge that puppets live alongside humans.

He has like 4 or more specials already, and they are better than any Netflix special could be. Netflix sanitizes things and tries to overproduce stuff - not enough creative control - and his specials are available on YT. Most are free

I been watching random Randy clips with little historical contexts on here (thanks algorithm gods) and sometimes I see him with that dude and sometimes he's doing stand up by himself and I just wonder. Are they ok now? Why did they split up? Or was Randy a solo act first and then he needed a human straight man for this to really "pop off"? Will I ever know the true backstory for these two? Also, just finished watching Kermit: the Swamp Years. Great job; Jim would be proud 👍
@reubenm.d.52183 жыл бұрын
They did split up, but it seemed amicable. Randy is still doing standup and Sammy J is doing radio and some comedy for the ABC. They still get together for some charity events. Here is a skit they made on the subject: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmrPpql3areUfas
