I think that sampling, if done properly and with respect to the source material, is complimentary to everyone involved. Old School & Mid School music was true art 🎨. No Diggity didn't become Toss It Up. Story behind that beat is twisted, but simply put, Pac recorded Toss It Up first with Dr Dre knowledge, but Dre one who made the beat never finalized it with 2pac. and when Dre left Death Row he produced No Diggity instead. Pac still released the song because of Dre and Death Row beef and he did it as sheer disrespect because he was upset at Dre over few other known issues
