Sampler DJS-500 nexus introduction

This is a sampler project that has a design in CDJ-2000 nexus and DJM-900 nexus style. The look and feel and the GUI have the same style. Sampler based on STM32F746G-DISCO board and pads from Akai LPD8. Replaced RGB LEDs in the pads. The sampler supports Pro Dj Link. It automatically selects the master deck, can receive information about BPM and beat moments, beats from the CDJ. This allows you to synchronize samples with the track on the air, as well as trigger samples without delays using quantize. Samples are stored on a micro SD card, wav format is supported.

TOP!!! Андрюха, это очень круто, еще бы синхронизацию не только Dj Link, а через ableton link или миди подвезти, что бы синхронился к разным брендам и софту, а не только к пионер, и будет полноценный WIN )

Паша, спасибо) Выход синхронизации имеется, даже два. Один из которых по USB можно заводить в ПК и через программу-транслятор заводить в любой софт. Доработать в прошивке прямое подключение так же возможно, но учитывая, что я делаю все один, даже мелкая фишка требует много времени на реализацию. И ооочень сложно себя заставить писать в коде то, чем даже сам пользоваться не буду. Если я подсяду на Ableton, я обязательно добавлю нативное подключение :)

Fantastic job ! Thank you for the video. Is a day you'll make a pro dj link interface to extract BPM and get it as a midi out? It will allows to connect any midi device without the need of computer. Would it be possible ? There is no such interface for the moment. Anyway, thank you for the videos and your wonderful job 🙂

@phitre i would also love to see what approach @Андрей Анацко would take for designing a PRO DJ LINK to Midi device that didn't require use of a computer but also with a form factor appropriate to a DJ setup... on a related note, Pioneer DJ does actually make a standalone piece of hardware that acts as a PRO DJ LINK to Midi (Din or USB Midi) converter, coincidently named the DJS-1000 ;)

@@djmattpositive I have one (DJS 1000) and i've bought it only for the interface, could you believe that ;-) For my own use, i needed only the interface but no choice. I like the DJS 1000 but if there was just a pro dj link interface with midi (of course) i would have bought only the interface and not the DJS 1000. I precise that the DJS 1000 is a nice product which can be convenient for a lot of DJs but for my personal use a pro dj link interface would have been enough (and less expensive i guess) ;-)

lol@@phitre whenever someone points out the (overlooked though obvious) need for an official, dedicated, (and hopefully small) PRO DJ LINK to MIDI converter box, i'm compelled to point out the DJS-1000, etc. it triggers lols and no one ever assumes i'm suggestion an actual working (though pricey) solution. but you're the first person i know of that picked up a DJS-1000 solely for it's converter abilities. it might seem like overkill but it's also the only current non-diy solution to a problem you needed to solve.

@@djmattpositiveThank you for your funny but appropriate answer. Yes, i've bought it for the interface but use it with samples (as a sample player) for live sets ;-) I mean, if there was a PDL (Pro DJ Link) interface, i would use only the PDL interface with synths and not the DJS 1000.

Theoretically, this can be added, you need to add another chip to the board (i2s to spdif). But in the current version it is difficult to do this, all the boards are already ready.

Уроки по stm32 и тд, по работе с дисплеями с программированием микроконтроллеров с созданием всего того что делаешь ты. Ты невероятный человек твои наработки и знания могут открыть дорогу таким же мечтателям и энтузиастам в новых областях. Это сделает наш мир интереснее. Если не хочешь на просмотрах, сделай уроки по подписке. Лично я был бы счастлив с нуля научится всему тому что создаешь ты.
