The whole video feels like you are trying to find drama where there is none. This is a success story of a hard working man and his great dedicated crew. The Tally Ho is now finish as of 9/24. It was an amazing build. I donated some money for the build because to be honest, Leo's channel is the best darn channel on KZbin. I started watching from the beginning. I was very happy this was a successful build. I hope he can sail the Tally Ho to Southern California so many down here would love to see the boat in person. This was a bespoke build. Meaning it was hand made made with skilled craftsmen and women. Because of Leo's project and personality he had many willing to help with the build.

His videos are exellent, not like yours, and he managed to rebeuild his dreamboat Tally Ho, with the help of a lot of people from allover the world. Everybody is happy, to see that beautiful little ship sailing again, and not to forget, many young people have started to work on wooden boats, a beautiful, difficult job, that has almost been forgotten. Leos videos are teaching old craftsmanship, how it is done, they are simply fantastic, I saw everyone of them. Try to rebuild an old wooden boat yourself, make good videos about it, and learn, how difficult this really is.

Leo seems like he has the self-interest trait. I think his girlfriend is gone, the guy who did like 50% of the work is gone, the people who let him use their home were left behind (rest peacefully) He seems like the kind of person who takes a lot from others, and is conveniently busy when they're in need. He never got into cost/what, if anything, workers were being paid. Annoyed his neighbors. I'm sure someone more familiar with the channel could point out more. I wonder what he'll be doing in a couple years. And what the dozens of people who donated hundreds of hours to help him will be up to. That's the kind of behavior that often leads people to success. But I wouldn't champion it.

This comment is a disgrace. I doubt the writer (@honeyforce996) has really watched any of Leo’s videos. Leo does not have any “self-interest trait”, he’s just determined to complete a job he started. Raul and Darlene, the couple who owned the shop and home in Sequim where Leo started out were so glad to have Leo using their shop. Leo helped them many times when he was at Sequim. Darlene passed away but Leo made sure that Raul was at the boat launching. He didn’t leave them behind, an unpleasant neighbor didn’t like the work of boat building and complained to the county. The other 6-7 neighbors were behind the project and would visit the job site now and then, and Leo would occasionally visit these neighbors. Many of the workers were paid for their work, many were volunteers from all over the country and some from other counties. If I didn’t live in Florida I’d have volunteered too. As it is I’m doing some voluntary computer work for Leo with his videos and have spent over 200 hrs on the work at home. I’ve been reading comments about Sampson Boat Co for over 7 years and have yet to see such a negative comment, you’re the first one, and overall there have been as many as 4,000 comments some times for certain episodes, and never have I seen a negative comment. If you read the many comments on the site you will see that most people like the channel because of Leo, his positive character, his positive ethics throughout the seven years work….he’s just a great and honest person that @honeyforce996 cannot see, or doesn’t want to see. His comment is a disgrace.
