Most quote-unquote "Zionists" are pretty secular and often atheist. There's an old observation among anti-apartheid Jews that the Zionists don't believe in God yet they believe he promised them Palestine. Of course there's a growing percentage of rightwing Orthodox that seem part and parcel with the illegal settlement movement but these are at odds with more traditional orthodox who aren't very political, many of whom actually consider it blasphemous to establish a nation of Israel when it's a tenant of their faith that only God may do that when their savior is born.

I was in Israel in the late 70's and the Palestinians and the Israelis lived side by side peacefully in Israel. I met Palestinians who where just normal people living and working as citizens in Israel. But Jared KKk is the worst of the worst. What an abhorrent, self interested creep.

Gaza was one of the five cities of the Philistine pentapolis, which also predates the first kingdom of Israel. DNA tests of Palestinians indicate that their ancient ancestors came mostly from - Palestine. They are not Arabs.
