My theory is that a world leader from somewhere asked him to do this, to prove loyalty, or sow division, or something. To me, he looked nervous when he did it. And when the NSDAP grew, people only noticed the improving economy and almost zero unemployment. Until it was too late. Remember, Germany hosted the Olympics at the time. The world didn't see a problem. Yet. We should not make the mistake of calling Musk a nazi. That's equally an insult to all the victims from last century.
