Actually, the Bible does not mention Delilah after she betrayed Samson. Despite Mr. DeMille's sympathetic depiction of her (most likely for dramatic reasons), the Bible shows Delilah to ba a greedy opportunist who was willing to do anything for money. If indeed she was not killed along with Samson and the top Philistine leaders, she most likely would have left Philistia when she heard of what Samson had done, knowing full well that those few Philistine leaders who might have survived would have wanted her dead too. However, neither Scripture nor Josephus, the Jewish historian, makes any mention of this wicked, greedy seductress after God allowed her to betray Samson into the hands of his Philistine enemies, at least in part as a punishment for marrying and having affairs with non-Israelite women, a direct violation of the Seventh Commandment, and, by extension, as the apostle Paul said in Romans, violating the other Commandments as well!

This was always a classic movie, I'm glad this movie recognized that Samson's power came from the LORD GOD. Yet the Word of GOD doesn't say Delilah prayed to GOD or that she led him to the pillars. I also hope that child they called Saul was not King Saul because the Word of GOD doesn't say he used a sling. Only King David did. GOD bless you all and please stay Focused on the Word. The reason why Samson had his hair long was to remember the gifts that God gave him and that was his strength. If he would have cut it, he would have forgotten who gave him his strength. First off, this movie is incorrect in many ways....In the word of God, Delilah was no more seen after samson had been captured by the philistines. Secondly, it was a philistine guard who led Samson to the pillars, not Delilah. Thirdly, before Samson begins pushing the pillars, he calls out to God one last time -Judges 16:28-28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.”.....Either make the movie historically accurate or don't make it at all.
