Samson saw love in his eyes. Which in turn was actual lust for Delilah. When captured, the men whom hated him mocked him and cut off his eyes. Pretty much told him physically that he was a fool for falling for such a deceitful woman. ✝️ although a story there is much we can learn.

Falling in love with anything in the flesh is bad because you place such a thing above God. This is a huge mistake. Love is about loyalty and sacrifice. Falling in love is infatuation. Look at Adam, Samson, King David and Solomon. What do they all have common? They put women on a pedestal and it led to their downfall.
