It sounds like "RGB-Microled" is just a backlight, so just like they tried with QLED, they're trying to trick people into thinking that LCD panels with new backlights are a more advanced technology. At this rate, we will probably see consumer QDEL (electro-emissive quantum dot) before we ever see consumer microled panels.
@zanzabar4ky72 күн бұрын
They did the same with LED TV and general public thinks they are the same thing as OLED. They did the same with refresh rates, resolution, and every other spec they could. We only have UHD called 4k since Samsung pushed it. 4k content can generally not be displayed on a tv since 4k means 4096 wide and up to 2160 tall, but UHD is 3840x2160. 3840 is a lot smaller than 4096 and requires everything to be re-rendered for it.
@winterbeginstechnmore2 күн бұрын
Maybe, but blue Quantum Dots also have lifetime issues. Low cost sub 1000 nits self- emissive may sound good but will not move the needle in terms of overall brightness headroom.

It's a backlight that can actually use to some extent, rgb independent colors as light, or just white as needed. Kinda like dimming zones, but now it would be extra color zones. Unless you have heard otherwise, is it only going to produce a full white backlight?

Consider getting a plug-in on your video editing software to help mitigate the background noise. There's a few really good ones out there, I think even Nvidia has some. 2. Breathe a bit Vincent!
