For those who says it doesn't go to the reboot mode and just switches on again First press power and volume down for 6 sec and before your phone vibrates, press volume up, while still pressing the power button. Before your phone vibrates, thats very important.

What none of these tutorials tell you is to place and leave a finger on the screen while executing these actions. So: Step 1 - Press and hold power button and volume down button while simultaneously placing and keeping a finger on the screen. Step 2: When phone vibrates to restart, keep holding power button, keep finger placed on screen, release volume down button, immediately press and hold volume up button. Wait until factory reset screen comes up and voila! NOWWW, you can reset your phone even though you can't remember your password. Trial and error was a bitch but thanks to the initial knowledge from the video poster, I think every reading this comment should have success.

I don't know why mine after reseting and restarting it asked me to choose between opening by my password or gave me an option to open using google account (email). I obviously choose openning using my email and it unlocked my phone. So thank you for you're very helpful video.
