SAMSUNG FRIDGE: NEW TEMPERATURE DOES NOT SHOW ???

Probably the most frequently asked question in the Samsung Fridge videos. I changed the temperature, so why it's not showing as the new temperature. I'll explain with a short video on this.
In this video, I'll go thru the process to change the temperature and explain the temperature that's displayed on the display. Hopefully, this will help answer the many questions out there.

It is ridiculous how poorly designed the user interface of this refrigerator is. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves for putting this out in the market. Also, the fridge doesn't come with an operation manual, these instructions aren't even on the Samsung website for the fridge, so the only way to figure out things like this is to Google hoping someone has made a video. Not sure why Samsung doesn’t give you the Actual information you will need in the manual or make a video . No one wants to play guessing games when they’ve spent there hard earned money. Samsung needs to do better but I do love my Beskope fridge. Thank you for this information.

Omg so this is normal? I just bought the Samsung RS63R and the temp when I first switched it on was 28C (room temp) - tried to change it to 5C and in 5 seconds it goes back to 28C before I get a chance to lock it. SO FRUSTRATING!!! Called customer service and they said to switch it off for a few more hours. Instruction booklet absolutely useless. Now I'm just going to set it to 5C and leave it alone. THANK YOU SIR!!!

Yes, the Samsung should have a 2 screen panel. Current temp and Desired temp.

If it doesn't show, probably something is wrong with the fridge. Best to call a fridge technician to have it looked at.

Please check if the freeze vents in the inside are blocked. If not, that's an issue with the fridge in this case. Need to call an appliance technician to troubleshoot.

@@devin5817 It is a mechanical problem with what you saying with the symptoms. There could compressor or other things. Good luck.

I ha r the same exact frig.. my ice maker drawer will not come out. So how do you defrost the ice maker only??

Did you try selecting the latch on the front of the drawer? If it doesn't unlatch, probably have to unplug the fridge for it to defrost before it can come out.

That’s the power cool feature when enabled. It will cool speed up cooling at max power to lower temperature.

Depending on difference in temperature to the current temperature, it could take longer.

My fridge temperature has a “C” and is blinking, and the freezer temperature goes from 6 to 13 to 21 every time it blinks. Those are the only 2 lights that show. Please assist. Thank You 🙏

Seems like it's not setup. Try to unlock the control panel and set the temperature.

Just bought the Samsung Bespoke Fridge/Freezer 2 Drawer with French doors. Trying to set fridge to 34 but after setting as you indicate and waiting for a while, temp now says 25. I checked it and it says 34 set point. Could the temp be that far off?

Did you unlock the control panel? If so, changing the temperature will revert back to show current temperature until new temperature is reached
