Samsung front load washer WF45T6000AW door won't open SUDS code(?) won't drain
To unlock door on this machine, drain the water from the system.
I was befuddled by this machine (no meaningful error codes indicating long drain or drain issue) ... NO TECH SHEET inside the machine.
When we pulled the drain filter, there was a small piece of wire.
Ultimately, took the front off and checked the drain pump. It was VERY HOT. Tested the drain pump with a direct power wire and it seemed to work ok, though I know at times pumps can appear to bench test ok, but not work.
Put the pump back in the machine, put some water in the tub and powered the pump with the direct power (suicide) cord and it drained FINE (confirming hoses from tub to pump and pump to drain clear).
Put the machine back together and it is working.
