Samsung front load washer wobbles will not spin

Found a broken wire in rmp sensor, the base of wire also needed to be attached to the shelf, fixed.

Hi. Mine is doing the same;I haven't opened the back yet to check the wires. What's the name of that piece? Or is there a model number on that part? If the wire is damaged, can it be replaced, or does it have to be repaired?

I had already twice the same problem with this model of washer. Once I completely replaced all wire harness, which was not easy job and second time I managed to repair that broken wire. However it worked maybe for couple loads, customer bought later a new washer.

My rotor spins freely and does that same rocking back and forth like you say but the rpm sensor is intact. What do you think it could be?

It's possible that you have a crack in the wire or you have broken wire check your rpm sensor wires going all the way to the main board.

Solution found. Wire comes in from the back of the connector. From the front, push on the plastic tab through the pin hole and that should allow the pin to drop out to solder on an extension wire. Washing machine now works!

Sure appreciate your videos, I've got a similar issue, without the noise, just move a little bit back and forth but won't do anything else but fill and drain... but there is no broken wire and I'm unable to get the thing into diag mode... is there any way to test the stator sensor without just replacing it and guessing?

Yes you can test it , On pin 1-2 1-3 at room temperature you should get between 9 to 9.7 ohms

@@hameedwafaAFG Thanks for that, I'm getting 11.7 from 1-2, 1-3 AND 2-3 but I'm getting the exact same from another stator I pulled out of another machine?!? Same numbers but I haven't yet put the older stator into the machine yet, was doing research still. Any other suggestions if 11.7 is good or are both shot?!?

Update, I replaced the RPS with the older one, it only had a VERY slight ohm difference on one of the pin pairs .1 ohms, but I tried it anyway, that didn't work... I'll try replacing the stator as well but the ohms there seem to be the same as the other I have, so I don't have a lot of confidence. I need to check the wire to the board now I expect and see if there's continuity. Any other ideas would be helpful as I'm not able to get it to go into diag mode for some reason?

2nd update, I've pulled the main board out, and found where the 4 wires connect from to the board as well as the 3 power wires to the motor, I checked for continuity from connector end to connector end, no break in those wires either, I'm going to try to replace the stator motor now with the old one after checking EACH of the 36 metal ends and they all had .02 - .03 ohms. BUT I did notice that there were two of them on opposite ends from each other that were "filed" flat a bit on the center?!? the other stator motor didn't have those, so now I'm a bit more confident that could fix it... I'll let you know.

3rd update, no dice, the other stator although had the same part number said it was .92hp vs the one from the broken machine said .6hp, I tried it anyway since the part numbers were the same with the exact same result. Next step i suppose would be to verify the voltage coming into the stator while it's attempting to run and verify the power coming into the RPS as well but that might be beyond my comfort level, maybe I can try to find a board to borrow or buy cheap and do a board swap to see if that's gonna fix it.

Great vid thanks for Diagnostic mode info ="while powered OFF press and hold three buttons at the same time for five seconds: SOIL LEVEL + SPIN + POWER ON/OFF. Making an EDIT to my original post as my washer is somehow now fixed: required me on two separate occasions days apart unplugging and ohm testing the STATOR SENSOR molex wire connections, and leaving the washer unplugged for a couple days. Suspect somehow the multimeter probes adjusted/cleaned off the molex pins enough to make better contact. My first post is the following. Have Samsung model WF210ANW/XAC after testing the STATOR SENSOR with two different multimeters getting too high OHM readings or OL, so then reconnecting the molex connectors NOW it will spin in Diagnostic mode reads 1150 and seems to get to high speed. Before the Stator sensor testing it did NOT spin in Diagnostic mode. So then attempted a Short wash but failed it stalls at 12 minute mark gets stuck in a Loop and does not spin and turn the drum, the drum just jiggles a bit attempting to spin but cannot like in this video. Was finally able to to set the SPIN mode to LOW and on the "Rinse and Spin" mode it finished successfully. No solution for me yet but this vid helped confirm the molex wires might be my issue and/or stator, or bearings. EDIT after 2nd ohm test which failed again and reconnecting both molex connectors again all tests passed no error codes. Progressive Testing first started a Rinse and Spin cycle with LOW spin speed with no clothes which worked. 2nd ran a Short Wash cycle on Low spin no clothes which worked. 3rd test ran Short Wash cycle on Low spin with half load clothes which worked. 4th ran Normal Wash Medium spin with clothes worked, 5th Normal Wash with High Spin with clothes worked. Will buy the new STATOR SENSOR as he suggests but OOS locally for me so thought others might be able to get a few more washes in before the part arrives. His other videos are informative I had the 3E(over under current detected) error initially then E2(Stuck button) during diagnostic mode, both are gone now

How did you repair it? Did you just trim back the wire and solder it to the female connecter, or did you put a new female connecter on the wire. If the latter can you share where you bought the female connecter?

I honestly don’t remember by now . But as far as I know , if I could not repair it I usually get rid of connector completely and solder the wires straight.
