@@Soto-Tech2020 my video stabilization on a52 5g works just fine. Doesn't have stabilization at 4k however. For a midrange phone, the a52 take incredible photos and video for what I need it for. People have too high expectations... they think they should be able to get flagship quality in every category out of a midrange device. Maybe if you made your expectations a little more reasonable you wouldn't be whining about petty sh*t like video stability.

Probably going to end up buying the 4a, the smaller screen will be perfect for my small hands. I would gladly wait for the 5a to come out but apparently with the shortage of electronics it might only happen later this year outside of the US. Also I heard the 5a will be more expensive than 4a, which kinda sucks because I really like the €350 price point.

Yes, Google pixel 4a5g user here. I am holding it is almost half years already. One thing is pissed me off is the youtube full screen landscape and return back to normal portrait mode, it can't. Sometime I need to click on power button twice then it change to portrait mode automatically.

The A52 camera is great for its price! On photos it can go either way. On videos A52 is better on image quality, but 4A stabilization is better. If the A52 had that stabilization, it would be perfect! I hope they can fix it on an update. On night shots, the 4A gets noisier, you can clearly see it, especially in the sky or very dark parts :/ Btw, the A52 4G is better value, cause it costs around $300-$350 instead of $500. I'm planning to buy the A52 4G soon! Tempted to buy the A72 only for the zooming, but don't like the size and price.... I've been watching like a 100 videos of the A52. Thanks for the amazing reviews and comparisons!

I agree with everything you said. Inside shots tend to have more grain in the ARE in suboptimal lighting conditions. Otherwise, the A52 looks like a winner.

@@LarryAsberryJr Definitely. I feel like the real winners are the 4G phones under 300 dollars that seem to always go on sale. Couple the A52 with the 4 years of guaranteed software updates by samsung and you got yourself a real contender. Remember the a52 also has a headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, microSD up to 1TB support, and the same 120hz display. No brainer!

Great Video, very pleasant to watch. Super examples from both phones. Appreciate the time you must have taken to edit this video. I'm on the fence between these 2 phones. Like the 4a but google have their launch in 1 weeks time for new products. Might hold off for the 5a and see what that has to offer. I have no interest in using 4K so that's not an issue for me. I was going to buy a Canon M50 mk II, but now will just get a good phone as I like to edit my pics on the phone for Instagram. Thks again, and I subd. Cheers from Ireland.

@@armichng you are actually WRONG about the processor. The SD 750G is actually faster than the SD 765G look it up! So the a52 has it beat in processor speed. Hdr+ certification or not! The A52 has a bigger, brighter, more color accurate screen than the pixel 4a and it's not even close. The battery is bigger and MOST DEFINITELY lasts longer on the a52, and you don't have to turn on battery saver to make your phone last all day. You have a 120hz display vs a 60hz on the pixel... which looks absolutely terrible after using the 120hz on the a52. The in-display fingerprint scanner beats back of the phone fingerprint reader on the pixel every time. The dual stereo speakers on the a52 are louder and sharper than the pixel.... so yeah... the ONLY category the pixel wins in is camera, and even then it's still pretty damn close.

@@Benjy86 For the processor,750G and 765G are close and 765G have better GPU and better efficiency I don't know if you used a mid-range Pixel but with my Pixel I can last two days with a single charge (without battery saver) Pixel speakers are actually very good In-display fingerprint is better for use but still slower than a capacitive one And display have a very good color accuracy And 60Hz still great after using 120Hz (I really use my mother S20 FE 5G with 120Hz but a 60Hz with good animations and fluidity still great to use and even more with Android 12) (For the camera don't tell me It's close,Pixel is more closer to the S20 than the A52,OnePlus Nord and OnePlus Nord 2 are closer than it to Pixel but I agree Samsung did a great job) And don't get me wrong,I had Samsung on the past but the A50 was the worst phone I ever had so now except on high-end I don't trust Samsung

I like the pixel but the camera lenses are the exact same ones that were in the original pixel 2! You can literally buy a pixel 2 phone and have the exact same quality (obviously apart from ultra wide) I own a pixel 3a xl and I absolutely love it non the less. I also have a Samsung a71 which is obviously a different model to the a52 but I have to say I prefer the screen on the Samsung to the pixel as it is a lot brighter and vivid. But honestly that's it the pixel wins in every other category

There's no way your using OIS for the A52, it wont be there in ultrawide but using the wide lens it works. I think you made that mistake on the video shot claiming wide lens its still super shaky.

Look at the difference in the viewing angle, pixel uses eis which crops out the outer frames of the video so the video looks zoomed in, while the a52 uses ois which stabilizes to a certain degree but also opting not to use aggressive eis since it will crop out the outer video frame. I prefer the latter since you can always edit in Google photos and add eis, just a click away. I'd rather have more information than false stabilisation.
