Unpopular opinion: I like the Galaxy better. So a huge problem with the Huawei is that there is a line that is portruding from one side of the fold to accommodate cameras and charging port. This means that when the phone is in tablet mode and is placed at a flat surface, the screen would be at an angle. This is also a serious breaking hazard as there would be space between the table and the screen, and if any kind of pressure is applied to the screen at this state, it would be very vunerable to snapping. Huawei looks like a square when its folded... youtube videos arent gonna fit very nicely. Plus the main screen is on the outside, which means its more likely to get damaged. Also everyone says the Galaxy's front screen is too narrow - in my opinion it is actually better that way bc it means it becomes easier to handle one-handed. Also the Huawei is more pricey. Please don't attack me in the comments for this ahhh

I was well and truly disappointed when the galaxy fold was reviewed on KZbin. When it is folded, the screen is way too small and there is so much leftover space. The galaxy looks so bulky and clunky. 10/10 to mate X for design implementation and making much of the fold, Loved what they did with the camera. Samsung's on the other end looks like a Symbian era phone when closed, also the notch annoys me, while I'm a Samsung fan when it comes to S series and the note series, I believe in the coming days Huawei has a better future in folding phones, unless Samsung comes up with a better design.

Huawei Mate X is better in its screen and overall outlook designs, but after considering the product release date, retail price and other hardware specs, I don't think it can rival Samsung Galaxy Fold, well, unless the Galaxy Fold does have some major design flaws.

When it comes to daily usage The GALAXY Fold wins because: The screen folds inward, thus allowing protection PREVENTING scratches in the first place. Compared to Huawei Mate X Because the screen is plastic all around, and the screen folds outward meaning your prone to scratches.

The fold will ultimately have more creasing imo because of the way it folds. The Huawei will have less creasing because it doesn't do a complete fold.

1. More cameras doesn't mean better photos. 2. Design? WTF? Samsung's design is beyond horrible. 3. None of them are cheap. Honestly, if you can afford a Samsung Fold, you can also afford a Huawei Mate X. 4. I don't find that handy at all. It's very stressfull to have to use so many apps at the same time. You can't work comfortable. If you need that many apps open, perhaps what you should buy is a PC.
