I use to have this and I rocked it from 2016 to 2018. I absolutely loved it the OS was definitely dated and also the camera was surprisingly good. Only thing I didn’t like about it compared to the Apple Watch was it felt like a toy. Like one of those spy gear kids watches.

I just changed the battery in mine and it's the best watch I've owned since it was released. It works 100%, 100% of the time. Why did they get rid of the camera? I can snap a picture faster than anyone can even find their phone in their pocket and fish through to the camera app. Under 1 second, and I've snapped a picture. One of my pics was even used on the news (it was a car accident). Anyway, great watch and I like it better than any of my apple watches, samsung watches, Pebble, a fitbit (wore it for years). This one is by far, my favorite and now it's like new again.

Watching this on 2018 and it is surprising that its been 5 years since the first galaxy gear smartwatch. I never thought that the galaxy note and gear smartwatch would be and look as good as they look now (Galaxy Note 9 & Galaxy Watch).

Seriously Marques, how have you not been picked up by The Verge (or other tech sites) yet? Your reviewing style is very easy to follow and incredibly insightful. Keep it up man. On that note, your review made me actually re-evaluate my thoughts on this device. I currently have a Pebble, but from what I can tell Samsung really put together a fairly decent contender here. Hate that it's connected only to Samsung device(s), but it's a good start. Waiting for the v2. BTW, have you received offers?

First off excellent video, very well presented and very informative. My question is when you get a text or a call does it tell you who it is or just tells you someone is texting or calling. Great reviews. Always "watch" your reviews before switching gear. Was an iPhone customer but switched 2 a Samsung Galaxy 3 smart phone after watching your objective, fair and articulate reviews of phones. Bought a Samsung 3 Galaxy and will never go back 2 any other manufacturer. My decision 2 purchase 3 was your review and explanation/comparison of all phones. I would not part with my S-G3 phone...love it. Keep reviewing. U do a great job.

Really liked your way to review techs. And the gear doesn't really do what I need to in a smart watch that connected to my phone while im holding it most of the time, maybe the speaker options is the only thing attractive in the gear considering someone pickup his phone while he drive, but if you can tweet or chat in traffic lights then I'll consider buying it.
