Are you sure the Energy Score updates throughout the day? I thought it was just a daily score you got. I've not noticed mine updating throughout the day.

No user replaceable battery but perhaps sending it in to Samsung would work.

No. If you read Samsung F.A.Q. about the ring they explicity say that if battery stops working well, only solution is a new ring.
