​​@@Unknowner291 should be on all galaxy phones if i recall correctly. also, it will only show as an option in game booster, if you have fast charge. if you don't, it won't show as an option, but your phone will just not charge. i got this on my s23u, and did some sweaty ranked games on wildrift for 2hrs on the highest settings. i can feel the chip get warmer, but the battery stayed the same temp, and stayed ad 48% the whole time. and i didn't experience any drops in fps. honestly my preferred way of gaming now. the battery tends to heat up rather quick when gaming while not plugged in, which leads to performance loss.

I've had the 512gb S23 Ultra since launch. I had used the pixel 7 Pro prior and have an iPhone 14 Pro as well, but neither come close to the S23 Ultra. Performance has been outstanding, cameras are great and I enjoy One UI more than any other OS. I prefer Samsung's apps in many cases so I use a combo of those and Google's. Combine all that with the amazing SPen and I'm very satisfied with the device despite the large price tag. Even that wasnt bad with the generous trade in at launch.

I feel like a lot of preference is used when talking about the software but performance wise... You notice the difference in long term use. S23u really holds its battery power through vigorous usage👌🏽

@@soul-the_argonaut5211 agreed. Definitely a preference. I totally understand if someone prefers the Pixel experience or iOS. Use what works for you. They are good performance wise too. I just notice more issues with iOS the last few years than I do with the other OS. Even that is just my experience. Someone else may have a different experience. Can't go wrong with any of these devices these days.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is technically far ahead of anything that's available in the market today. As someone who owns both S23 Ultra and iPhone 13 pro, I certainly appreciate how much the Ultra makes my life easier especially at work with its unique capabilities like Dex and S pen. Its smooth, fast and leaves no stones unturned. The experience is just unparalleled.

I am not really interested in phones but got this for two reasons. The first is I am interested in wildlife and aviation photography and travel a lot. The S23 ultra has genuinely good telephoto capabilities and has allowed me to capture loads of shots I would otherwise have missed through not carrying my mirror less camera. The camera is superb and really is very good for telephoto use, not just good 'for a phone ' but properly good. The second is the pen which I find incredibly useful. Battery life is great and the screen is fantastic. However most of what it can do is way over my head. Expensive, but excellent.

Got the 512GB of the Ultra and it is the best phone I have ever used. Extremely amazing and has never hung up on me. My favourite feature is the fact that when gaming, you can connect your phone to your charger and the power from the charger would stop charging the battery and power the phone instead, reducing temperature on the phone and increasing performance. That blew my mind. Love it

Honestly I still think that the S22U is overlooked. I know it had it's share of battery issues when the 8G1 launched. It has gotten significantly better though after all of the updates. I've had days that I can get upwards of 9 hours with the screen on.

Just get a screen protector. I have this phone and it's great... But the screen does pick-up micro scratches really easily. I think the gorilla glass is very shatter proof, but at the expense of being slightly softer, which makes it prone to light scratches. Samsung should ship this from the factory with a protector applied like some other manufacturers are doing.

@@ivanpetrov7379 I use an iPhone 14 Pro Max as my daily driver. Couple reasons, the first is that I’m American so texting is the main source of communication and unfortunately traditional SMS falls far short of iMessage in terms of functionality; if I was anywhere else and using third party messaging apps then I’d use the S23U as my daily driver. Second would be ecosystem; I have both ecosystems for both phones, in fact I have a lot more devices for Samsung than I do my Apple stuff, however I find that my Apple ecosystem works a smidge smoother and offers more options for app support. Last would be the camera and video; S23U takes some amazing photos but the downside, even with the newest update would be the shutter lag. I have a new baby and taking photos with the S23U I found that with a squirming baby, I got a lot of blurry photos, with iPhone, it’s not 100% but I get photos I want the first time. Video on iPhone is still king too, I prefer the video over S23U, even with the 8K which you can only use if you’re sitting still (any movement kind of just distorts it). If I was anywhere else besides the US for vacay or work my number one choice would be the S23U, so definitely based on location rather than which phone is better.

I had a iPhone before upgrade the this one, and I don't notice anything different about sending messages from either phone? Probably the only thing I will say is if you send pics in iMessage I think they stay as high res - but andiod the quality of pics goes to shit... But I don't really go sending photos over sms that much and just use FB messenger if I do

s21u until s23u all have same tele config, ultrawide with AF( samsung's middle finger to those phones with dedicated macro lens), wide with ois, 3x tele ois and 10x periscope ois. so yeah optical at 3x, more😊 then 3x it start digital zooming using tele 3x, starting at 10x only it uses that periscope. as a s22u owner i find that the image produced is usable up until 30x, more than that just for looking up

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S9+ for 5 or 6 years now and that is from having an iPhone 6. I use to have all Apple products as their "ecosystem", if you will, requires it. Since switching to all Android products it stuns me that people still love Apple products. Android is more superior in regards to versatility of OS and also pairing product options. I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and can't wait. My phone company, for early Boxing Day sale, is paying $800.00 of new phone and when checking out the iPhone 15 Pro Max they had almost no sale coverage. I'm not hating on Apple products I just don't get the hype. Yes, 10-15 years ago they were the obvious go too but now Android seems better and seems to have better sales. Thank-you for your review!

Great review! There's one thing I don't understand. Google wallet doesn't even exist in my country, and google pay is far worse than Samsung pay or apple pay. Plus, having Bixby means Samsung can implement it's own call screening feature (something google only keeps exclusive to pixel) and modes and routines. SmartThing app is absolutely essential if you're into the Samsung ecosystem (which is the best in terms of versatility). Galaxy store, albeit a bit unnecessary, still has useful stuff like theme pack. I don't understand why reviewers absolutely loathe Samsung giving us these services.

On most reviews, or even all of the once that I’ve came across for that matter - I can see in the comments that people made a cross from iOS to Android because of the S23 Ultra. Ironically, I made the switch as well without really knowing the true potential of the phone or to even know that it was THAT good to begin with, because honestly it was an impulse buy after playing around with the phone’s camera at a tech store 😂. I said to my wife, “wow honey, look how powerful this camera is!” lol. It felt like I jumped ship just at the right moment, to a great phone. Greater specs, and most importantly- finally, better projection for software updates. Nothing against iOS though as I find the app support - although costly if compared to Android, is much better. For example, the Document app by Readdle at the moment is only exclusively for iOS and I’m gonna miss it a lot. And I miss iMovie. But for someone who has been an iSheep for years, not wanting to consider Android anymore even once, this is a surprising shift even for myself 😂.

i have s23 ultra 512 version and love it very much. the only drawback is that it is not a little smaller and that the system does not have more animations, widgets and such small things. otherwise the phone is brutal. if i were to trade it would be for the new sony 1v or the powerful huawei p60 pro

6:23 yeah... Lost mine on the first 3 days of having it, I was sketching a blueprint for one of my projects while at a Starbucks and I remember going to the bathroom and then heading home, then 15 minutes later notice the pen icon in the notification bar. I went back but it was gone. So I bought a new one and now I have the setting were it reminds you that the s pen is not in the phone. When they cut out micro SD is when I clocked out. I went back to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 after a brief time with the S22 Ultra and hopefully will be able to stick with that for a long while. SD card gets full, pull it and transfer it to the pc external drive. Poof clean as a cat! Yes one day I'll have to pay for cloud storage but for now I'm happy with the Note 20 Ultra

The N20U exynos gets hot, has awfull battery life and no more OS updates, it was a great phone but it seems awfull now I have a 1Tb 23U, I never used the SD slot on the Note.

@@JohnSmith-ef8nr My day starts at 6am - I use my phone consistently throughout the day. By the time I get off work and get to my 2nd Job, it's usually down to about 40%. Job 2 I'm usually off my phone so when my work day ends around 8pm it's time to answer tons of messages. I do that and then it's bed time. Plug up phone, repeat cycle. Phone never gets hot. Battery life is amazing. 256 gig of external storage space that can be easily removed and transfered to the external drives. Just can't go wrong with the Note 20 Ultra. Oddly enough the phone updated yesterday. Maybe you had a lemon.

@Wade_Sabers It's was a great phone but the battery life was getting really bad and not long after I got a s23 the note started running hot, so much that it came up with a warning. I guess the battery is worn out but its not worth the cost of getting a replacement battery since the phone won't have anymore os updates, only security updates from now on. I find having 1tb built in memory is fine so I don't miss the Sd slot.

I'll probably wind up getting one in maybe a year or so when the price drops dramatically since I buy my phones outright without phone plans. But to my point, the phone I'm currently using is phenomenal in every way as it is now. Even without OS updates. I usually keep a phone for a few years before going to the next Flagship. But I've never paid more than 1k for a phone. I'm patient and wait out the price drop. Definitely won't pay that when I have a phone working exceptionally well as it is.

Few things. After years of using budget phones and going to this was an epic Wow! Moment. I think it is totally worth the extra bucks. Also Samsung Uk are always doing promotions so you will always get some money off or some vouchers. They gave me a 300 pounds Adidas voucher, on top of my niece's student discount 😊 the size? It took me some time to get used to but now after 1 and half months of usage I don't notice it anymore. The camera was the main reason i got this phone for but it has been such a pleasurable experience all round. Thank you for your review Techspurt ! One last thing, after seeing so many reviews of this phone online i was totally expecting for people to constantly inquire about my new phone 😂 Honestly, no one seems to know about this phone in real life. Which is ok but i found that so peculiar.

Coming from an s10+ i freaking love this phone. Though goddamn it is heavy, especially with a decent case. What i cant understand is why we get a 200mp camera... but cant do raw with it. This phone has some serious horse power.. no way it couldnt handle churning out a raw file. Lol

Yup, The most I've spent on a device has been $580 for a Realme GT2 PRO. I also picked up a Google Pixel 7 for dirt cheap as a work phone and backup. 2 great phones for less than 1 flagship.

One thing I can say about using a Samsung Galaxy, S20FE 5G in my case, is that I don't need to upload third party apps like photo and video editing, built QR scanner to name a few. I am looking at the getting the S23 Ultra as my next phone. I am already in the Samsung eco system. There is a UK seller with small discounts on some colours.

The best use i found for the spen was controlling the cursor when using the phone as a touchpad connected to my tv. Game changer. Unfortunately it was a tad too heavy and i just couldnt bear the stupid curved screen 😢 S23+ way better, except it has no spen. If i want a flat screen and spen i have to go all the way back to the note 20, something i am considering.

Every time they upgrade the glass to a better, newer and stronger version they just make it thinner to reduce weight resulting in easy scratches every single time. I have a 2 year old oppo find x3 pro that had its factory installed protector come off more than one year ago and it has been in my pocket since, with keys and stuff and ZERO scratches.

I just got mine now over a week ago. Upgraded from the Pixel 6 Pro and honestly so glad I did. Yes I love the stock Android and Pixel only features but that battery life was just too bad for me to keep it. Zero regrets so far!
