2.Remove protective modules.
3.Remove headphone jack.

7.Put back the back glass - bit.ly/1qXeKBX;

Great video. My headphone jack was only playing through one headphone so I followed this repair and successfully repaired it. If anyone is struggling with keeping the ribbon connected to the motherboard make sure that the headphone jack is pushed in all the way into the phone.

hannah lisa still haven't replaced it, I was quoted around £80 which I thought wasn't worth it. I might try and get insurance then claim on getting a replacement.

thanks, I sent my phone for a display change and when it came back the phone jack didn't work, most likely the connector wasn't properly on. Watching this video I discovered that this didn't require soldering, so I easily opened it and fixed it. Saved me the trouble of sending it across the country again

Did it today using this video. I used a replacement jack ordered online. All the removable screws are the same so can be replaced in any order. The panel removal looked daunting but i placed them facing the same way as i took them off in order on my desk so id know which way up to put them back. I am not very tech savvy but pausing where neccessary this video was perfect. Thank you for uploading!

BEFORE ANYONE BUYS! The part that he used in his video, may or may not be the same as the one that your phone needs! His phone could have been a G930F while your phone had G930AZ! We made a mistake our first purchase and bought a audio jack that did not work correctly with out s7. The headphone jack FIT perfectly with the S7 but didn't work well at all with it. If you have any questions drop them down and I will respond to them! I hate when people make youtube videos like these and dont explain that not all S7 have the same parts! Really hate it.

The_xD_bro Can you help me please with my issue when I put my my earplugs into the headphone jack the phone recognises it but no audio comes out and the earplugs work as ice tested them on other phones. I have a Samsung s7 edge

had to replace the battery on my s7 a couple years back, the hair dryer worked well enough in heating up the adhesive (though i was a bit paranoid about possibly overheating the phone itself but it's still working okay haha)

though i ended up accidentally peeling off a lot of the dye layer of the back glass upon prying it off but honestly the transparency adds to the look. maybe a heat gun would be more precise n avoid this hah
