Arun when you are taking photos aspect ratio of S9+ camera is 18.5:9 which is about 7.9 mega pixels while iPhone X is 4:3 which is about 12 mega pixels. You should change picture size of S9+ to 12 megapixels.

why can't any "tech" reviewer give an objective comparison without preconceived conclusions. I get it, you don't want to be blacklisted by Apple for stating uncomfortable truths, but why make disingenuous digs that Samsung is copying Apple but when Apple blatantly copies Samsung and others, even when Samsung made the iPhone screen (which is hardly ever mentioned when talking about the iPhone) to compete with the Android flagships especially Samsung who is the leader in innovation.

Duel camera, (about 2 years after Apple), a touch screen phone by Samsung (2 years aft apple, removal of headphone jack (in about 1-2 years) ar emojis, (a year after Apple). Oh, yeah, and Apple has Samsung manufacture theirs screens that’s not fucking stealing from Samsung, that is legitimately purchasing a Samsung product.

Luke, although I don't like to feed trolls, I am going to break your argument nonetheless. 1. Dual camera - Apple started the dual camera on iPhone 7 plus. There were many other Android devices before this that had Dual Camera setup. Apple just made the most noise like they do everything they release. Samsung just followed the trend. 2. Touch screen - LG Prada came before the iPhone. Samsung was doing resistive touch screens well before the iPhone. It's a natural evolution to go from resistive to capacitive. 3. Head phone jack - It wouldn't be because of Apple, it would be because the industry moved on and something better would replace it. That replacement has not arrived yet. 4. AR Emojis - Animojis and AR Emojis are a world apart. Also, you do know that phones take time to design and develop. By the time iPhone X was launched, Samsung was already halfway through making their phone. Do you seriously think that Samsung would include something so petty just because Apple brought the even more useless Animojis. 5. Fingerprint reader - many phones had fingerprint reader before Apple. It was just not successful or made much noise - see point 1. Samsung (like Apple) would only do what is successfully implemented unless its their own technology. Now lets reverse the claims and see where Apple has stolen 1. Large screens - Before the Note series made large screens a good thing, Apple and Steve Jobs specifically have always said that the large screens will not be on Apple phones. But guess what, iPhone 5 and 5s had a slightly bigger screen. And then when Samsung and others made their even bigger, Apple copied that into 6 and 6 Plus. 2. NFC - NFC was on devices much before Apple tried to make it proprietary with Apple pay. Apple's was restricted to Apple pay though. 3. ip76 - Samsung had ip67 on the Galaxy s5. Apple didn't do theirs until years later. Samsung is now on ip68 4. Wireless Charging and Fast charging - iPhone 8 didn't get these things until end of 2017. Samsung and other companies had this years before. 5. Amoled - Until Samsung made Amoled a staple in flagships, Apple was always with an LCD display. Only with the X did this change. 6. Glass back - Granted that Apple had the glass back with the 4, they stopped it for the 6 and Samsung embraced it for their 6 and continues to this day. Only with the 8 and X did this come back to Apple, because it was a successful evolution due to wireless charging. 7. Bezzle-less design. This was done with the Galaxy s8. Apple go theirs much much later. What Apple may steal in the future 1. MicroSD - Apple never had this. But I wouldn't be surprised down the road they implement their own proprietary version of this like they did the lightning port (when the world outside Apple made Micro-USB and now USB-C the standard), imessage (a blatant proprietary copy of Blackberry messenger), Facetime (a proprietary video calling app like the world standard Skype at the time - now there are tons of alternatives). 2. Launchers - One day Apple users will be completely fed up of seeing rows of icons and finally say that enough is enough and Apple may introduce some type of launcher. 3. Multi-window - Samsung redefined multi-tasking with multi-window in their Note. This was later implemented by Android natively. Apple may steal this and release it as their own like they did command center and notification bar (both stolen from Android. Cry Jailbreak all you want, but Jailbreak got it from Android) Conclusion: I don't think anyone steals anything from anyone else. They just go with what the evolutionary next step is as per the technology available and market demand. But if you say Samsung copied Apple, then I would say more times Apple copied Samsung or others. Apple doesn't ever innovate. They just buy companies that do and market the hell out of the finished product - Siri, Authen-tec come to mind or they take what is already in the market and rebrand it to their proprietary vision.

The iPhone X has a comfortable speed advantage, even over the Snapdragon 845. Qualcomm has been trailing Apple by roughly two years for the past half decade. The 2016’s iPhone 7 is still handily beating the latest Android flagships in raw power. The most interesting thing about this phone is the variable aperture. But as cool and technically impressive as that is, nobody but the most fervent smartphone photographers will actually use that often enough to justify buying the S9 for that feature alone. The iPhone X is more compact, faster, still has better speakers, has better software support, a richer app ecosystem, better support for third party accessories, better memory management, superior haptic feedback and makes better use of screen space within applications. FaceID is also integrated more naturally (though Samsung deserves the win here for including a fingerprint sensor alongside the Face ID). The S9 has a larger battery on paper, but one of the smallest capacities of any Android flagship, and will almost certainly suffer in battery life by comparison. The S9 will probably improve upon the brightness over the S8 and IPhone X, which is a big plus, if implemented correctly. Samsung (or any Android) offers split screen multitasking, something even the iPhone X stupidly still lacks. The camera has the chance to be one of 2018’s best smartphone cameras, as long as Samsung doesn’t screw up the image processing. Hopefully, we’ll get an updated port of the Pixel Camera soon. The S9 doesn’t “put the iPhone X to shame”, just as the iPhone X doesn’t put the S9 to shame. Both are fantastic.

Samsung manufacturers the screen for Apple. But the display is designed by Apple, not Samsung. Apple doesn’t directly source the screen from Samsung.

Excellent video! I just however wanted to point out that you are wrong about the AR emojis, and the animojis. The iPhone x does not use the depth dot Display for an animojis, only The front facing camera. This can be Proven by covering up the sensor and the animojis will still work.
