Honestly, this apple-andriod debate is futile. The apple users defend apple. The android users defend android. The majority of people have not experienced either phone per each generation and are using useless statistics to defend their respective phones. Seriously, nobody could care less if opening an app is a tenth of a nanosecond faster on one phone than the other. They're relying on they're own experiences, not taking into account other's experiences. All competing phones in the market right now are so close in capability right now that I don't think there is a reason to debate. The apple users will most likely stick to apple. The android users will most likely stick to android. I know that the hands-on experience is the most important factor in testing a phone's capability. As aforementioned, most people down in the comments write hate comments about the oppposing phone, not taking into account the experience each phone delivers. I hope that's clear.

i dont know what misinformation you have been receiving but the iPhone X bests the S8 in almost every way. Camera, security, style, speed... need i go on? Samsung users alway bragging about headphone jacks and extra storage but really? I got 64 gb bc apples new photo system takes way less space. optimization is better. Also, must i start on the fingerprint sensor location? Then the camera is pitiful. 4k at 30 fps for a max of 5 minutes. Even the s9 can only record 4k at 60 fps for max of 5 minutes. I actually set 4k at 60 as default bc of space optimization. Check the facts.

Multiplex117 Good luck viewing those photos on any other device, since Apple now uses its own image format that's also currently and conveniently incompatible with the vast majority of electronic devices on the market (because Apple is fucking ridiculous like that). And that doesn't change the fact that you could still be storing those photos on an SD card, where it would take _no_ storage on your phone, as opposed to a little bit. Plus, "a little bit" does eventually add up, doesn't it? So don't be complaining when your device eventually runs out of the space that originally seemed to be more than enough/endless. As for the headphone jack, I'd rather be able to have options, than to have a company decide what's best for me, on its own initiative, without my consent or input. Honestly man, with the 1440p screen, Dolby atmos audio and the fact you can record high resolution slow motion videos at 1080p at over 244 fps, let's just say I love my gs9. I honestly had a regular iPhone 6 but I finally hit that graphics failure problem everyone else got. So I decided to switch and honestly, hands down I LOVE this phone. Android has freedom to download apps outside its store and most apps are free of charge. Apples have no SD cards, expandable storage. Apples phone design is as smart as Samsung's which are equally as good. If I compare a top range Iphone vs Samsung its like comparing an overpriced mid range, iphone against a Premium Samsung phone, due to its missing features, 4k gorilla glass, headphone jack, etc...

Marc Alvarez Ummm... Who said that? Do you have any factual evidence to backup your statements? No, that's what I thought. I had the iPhone 5s since it came out and till date, it has been working absolutely fine. One thing that makes me buy the iPhone over the samsung is build quality. The iPhone looks like a higher class smartphone for the rich while Sams Lung or whatever it's called looks like a lower class smartphone for peasants.

So, the S9 has a better screen, still has a fingerprint scanner or "touch id" as you call it, while implementing a better facial recognition, keeping an iris scanner, keeping the headphone jack, having usb type c, fast charger out of the box, better wireless charging, better camera, better looks, as the symmetry of a screen has always been THE standard for ALL screens, having the notch is just a way of saying "oops, I fucked up removing the fingerprint, and now I can't get these sensors below the screen sooo...yolo...go for the notch...". Ah, and a much better price, oh, and not to mention you're not forced to either go for 64 GB OR 256 GB, you can either go inbetween them or higher so umm...how exactly did you reach that conclusion? I understand what a fanboy is, and I know what being biased is, but to give a list of things phone A is better than phone B, and than take it as some sort of a tie....that's just ridiculous...

Gazdaru Andrei I have an s8 it's the biggest piece of shit ever. I just copped an iPhone X. On paper they all sound better... Day to day use, slow af, fucking clunky, not smooth at all, glitches all the time. iOS is just so much nicer

Why does Samsung have to redesign a design that still looks the sexiest on the market? iPhone 6, 6S, 7, 8 all look the same, and it certainly had already become boring when 7 came out with the same design as two generations before, and the 8 released in 2017 still had the same design from 2014. Why wasn't that a major complain then? Tbh, I'm glad Samsung did not redesign the beautiful look for the sake of redesigning it. For people complaining about the same design, maybe come up with your idea of how the s8 can look even better before complaining about that. A review does not to have to complain for the sake of complaining.
