Honestly, this apple-andriod debate is futile. The apple users defend apple. The android users defend android. The majority of people have not experienced either phone per each generation and are using useless statistics to defend their respective phones. Seriously, nobody could care less if opening an app is a tenth of a nanosecond faster on one phone than the other. They're relying on they're own experiences, not taking into account other's experiences. All competing phones in the market right now are so close in capability right now that I don't think there is a reason to debate. The apple users will most likely stick to apple. The android users will most likely stick to android. I know that the hands-on experience is the most important factor in testing a phone's capability. As aforementioned, most people down in the comments write hate comments about the oppposing phone, not taking into account the experience each phone delivers. I hope that's clear.

My s7 edge is garbage now, one day i dropped it from off the couch and the display started flashing like crazy.. And then i got a referbished one and it literally did the same thing after a small drop that wasnt even hard enough to crack the glass.. Had to go ahead and switch to the iPhone 8 because my warranty ran out and i didnt want to get another referbished phone.. But besides the display bugging it was a great phone

Honestly man, with the 1440p screen, Dolby atmos audio and the fact you can record high resolution slow motion videos at 1080p at over 244 fps, let's just say I love my gs9. I honestly had a regular iPhone 6 but I finally hit that graphics failure problem everyone else got. So I decided to switch and honestly, hands down I LOVE this phone. You can also use Dolby atmos on KZbin vids with the phones speakers

i dont know what misinformation you have been receiving but the iPhone X bests the S8 in almost every way. Camera, security, style, speed... need i go on? Samsung users alway bragging about headphone jacks and extra storage but really? I got 64 gb bc apples new photo system takes way less space. optimization is better. Also, must i start on the fingerprint sensor location? Then the camera is pitiful. 4k at 30 fps for a max of 5 minutes. Even the s9 can only record 4k at 60 fps for max of 5 minutes. I actually set 4k at 60 as default bc of space optimization. Check the facts.

Multiplex117 Good luck viewing those photos on any other device, since Apple now uses its own image format that's also currently and conveniently incompatible with the vast majority of electronic devices on the market (because Apple is fucking ridiculous like that). And that doesn't change the fact that you could still be storing those photos on an SD card, where it would take _no_ storage on your phone, as opposed to a little bit. Plus, "a little bit" does eventually add up, doesn't it? So don't be complaining when your device eventually runs out of the space that originally seemed to be more than enough/endless. As for the headphone jack, I'd rather be able to have options, than to have a company decide what's best for me, on its own initiative, without my consent or input. Just because wireless is the new thing doesn't mean that some people still don't prefer wired over wireless, or have the money necessary for good quality Bluetooth headphones (but then why the fuck they wasting $1000 on a phone when they could get more, AND better, for more than $200-$300 less)? Oh, and style? Lmao you mean that ugly ass bezel at the top that cuts right into the screen? You call that and the protruding camera bump style? Oh, but god forbid anyone compliment the S8's orgasmic-to-the-touch *curved* edges, right (my parents actually have them, so I do know what they feel like). And speed? You can sure as fuck bet that the iPhone X has amazing speed, I don't doubt that one bit. That's one thing Apple has right. However, that also doesn't change the fact that the processing power/RAM is only 3GB, while the S8/S9 STANDARD version has 4GB. And let's not forget about the 6GB version. Android phones such as Samsung are far superior than Apples in most categories. Only advantage of an Iphone is its single core processor which is faster than its android rivals, not by a big margin. But Apples multi-core processors are much slower and can't handle multi-tasking background apps. In Screen resolution Samsungs had reached its 4K, Gorilla Glass technology over 4 years ago. But Iphones are still using lcds. In fact iPhone screens are made by Samsung and some other parts. No headphone jack is another big issue. If you like iphones simple theme, you have options on Androids to set IPhone theme or any other, which you have no option on iphones. Android has freedom to download apps outside its store and most apps are free of charge. Apples have no SD cards, expandable storage. Apples phone design is as smart as Samsung's which are equally as good. If I compare a top range Iphone vs Samsung its like comparing an overpriced mid range, iphone against a Premium Samsung phone, due to its missing features, 4k gorilla glass, headphone jack, etc...

By no means an iPhone fan, but iPhones actually don't need as much RAM because Android is built in Java, whereas iOS is built in Objective C/C/C++. Basically any software written in Java will not be as optimized as software in C/C++/O-C, due to the optimizability of Java apps compared to C/C++/O-C apps.

Well it technically depends but I agree with, an F1.5 - F2.4 is a decently good aperture to take some good low light shots.
