the stabilisation on the iphone is better but the audio, colour correction and autofocus feels better on the s9 to me.... the iPhone got SLAUGHTERED in the low light test too..fantastic review dude

Something wrong with the test. Either you did not set images stabilization correct in settings on the S9 or the test example of S9 was defect. My Note 8 with images Stabilization correct setup would never give these bad videos.

Everything was set as the settings on the camera would allow it and tbh I have a retail mode Note 8 which I use and the extreme stablisation test behaves in a similar way. If in doubt check my other Note 8 camera tests on the channel and you can see for Yourself

I think tha cameras on today's top smartphones is so equally that it's up to personal preference what we like. Personally i go for my Note 8 camera because all the possibilities. But it can very easy to make vrong setup in settings. Do i go for Galaxy S9? No. Because the i miss at the glory of the rest of the Note funktionallities. Maybe Note 9. By the way. And indeed I’m more of a Note user since the Note 2 so as much as I like the S series, I LOVE the Note even more and for sure I say that smartphone cameras as I kelt stating and usually state in my camera tests that it is all down to personal choice always. Alan Silva the rear camera uses the mic on the back and the bottom. But the front uses the regular one. The back one by the flash is there because, youre recording video. Audio comes via that way.other then that you have a point. But as always (personally) iphone sadly has better audio.... samsung is kinda known for having sad speakers. Gotta say the only phone thats ever really got me shook is the htc m7

OverKnight 52 indeed. I always use Samsung for many other reasons but audio is something really subpar in Samsung phones, both in speakers and headphones. I never feel completely fulfilled listening to music in my Samsung phones. But my point is that iPhones are the best smartphones for video recording, and audio still mono?

The iPhone has mono audio recording in video mode not stereo and also the volume is low and the noise cancelling/reduction is too aggressive and messes up the audio experience in video shooting mode.
