Another great video. Used this in conjunction with the USB port replacement video to put in both a new battery and USB port. Tip: I used a hair dryer on high setting to heat up the old glue. Run it for 1.5 to 2 minutes. If not softened the run it some more. Thanks for the vid!

My repair was easier because the screen had bulged out no suction cup was needed. Thank you for a detailed tutorial.

I have a a8 10.5. I replaced screen and ribbon. Old screen worked but glass was broken. But new screen doesn't work or old 1. Battery is charged

Do you have to heat the screen and cut the glue away? I bought a battery kit for my mom's Tab A8 X200, because we watched a different video that didn't say anything about cutting or heating, but I can't get the dumb back off the tablet. It's so frustrating that it was made so that removing the battery was so difficult. I don't feel like I can do all this, I don't have a suction cup and don't want to damage her screen. I feel like we wasted $50 :(

To be honest suction cup wasn't really needed... the most important is to really heat it up (160F/70c). I used a food dehydrator since blow drying wasn't hot enough to shimmy the plastic thing to separate the glue.
