3lement2010 But they fucked up in storages. Ipad pro 2017 offers 512GB of internal storage. While the galaxy tab s3 only has 32gb models. From a users perspective. Thats 480GB more than the tab s3. Combined it with 256gb of storage still doesn't reach another more than 200GB. I'll just wait for the tab s4. Which may have better internal storages.

To those saying that this looks like an ipad pro cuz of the pen do your research before you talk. Samsung as the first to integrate a pen into a tablet. The 10.5 galaxy note tablet 2014 edition, yes it came out in 2014 and had a pen. So you tell me who copied who. When apple catches up with an OLED display, multi user support, and the ability to hide content from the tablet ; I will consider an ipad. In the meantime , the samsung tab s is my tablet of choice. If we decided to consider it over an ipad, it's because it has since unique features that the ipad still does not have. Get over it

None None I’ve got both I’ve got Samsung s3 tablet and mini iPad . The iPad is slightly more expensive but far superior .. I’ve not found one negative thing with the iPad where as the s3 as several annoying bugs ..slow start up poor battery life unresponsive and slow . I’d give the apple 10/10 but the Samsung s3 tablet 4/10

Jar Jar Elon No it isn't HDR refers to the different levels of color on the TV. For example a non HDR TV can display about 16.7 million colors while a TV with HDR can display over a billion. Also a regular HDTV panel is 8 bit where as an HDR capable TV is 10 to 12.

Samsung productivity software addon is intuitive compared to iOS plane and outdated renovations.... i would like to see a 12inch-esque samsung pro tablet with these and functions.... Google should improve it's web platform with a iTune feel, this would advance their ecosystem and functionality, because right now Google applications are all over the place for example Music and Music subscription if you ask me that feature should be on Play store and granted access to US store... Play store Movie and Tv needs an overhaul...drag and drop should be ubiquitous not standard.. and don't get me started on Apple's universal search engine it's terrible...

The iPad Pro is awesome. Samsung really looks like it has made a fantastic tablet. If it was cheaper than the iPad. I would be seriously considering this. Furthermore, I think the tablet screen is great. The thing is, iPads don't slow down. In my house we have two iPads. I have an iPad Air 2 - works brilliantly. My mum has an iPad 2 which is seriously old now but still works. I think the iPad 2 must be at least 6 years old now. I once had a Samsung tablet. This was when I owner a Samsung S3. This tablet really slowed down over the years. It was much cheaper than the iPad 2 though. I think the fact that's Androids slow down after a few years is my main reason for being so loyal to Apple. It's so frustrating having a piece of technology slow down. My oldest phone which is an iPhone 3 still works. It's crazy. My Samsung S3 and HTC One M8 died. So Apple is the best in my opinion.

R C Ipad do slow down quite a bit after each new big release of iOS, my ipad air 2 is still with ios 8.4 and it's still crazy fast ^^ And my phone is a Galaxy Note 4, it's still alive, it's not slow (Updates make it faster actually), it have a great battery life, I can change the battery very simply, put a big sd card... I'm happy with my note 4 and my air 2 with iOS 8.4. ^^

tbh I'd recommend the iPad 9.7 2017 if you're a college student. I'm not an apple fanboy but let's face, it when it comes to tablets apple have better software support on the long run than Samsung since Samsung keeps releasing random tablet every now and then.

yeah very true, I have a 7in galaxy tab 4 but looking for something a bit beefier and have lost track of how many tablets samsung has released since then. I took a look at the 9.7" ipad and the only thing I didnt like was the extra weight compared to the pro that and using and charging a bluetooth keyboard. I've been debating between this, the new ipad or the 9.7" pro, I just dont like the extra cost of the pencil as well as keyboard, but if I'm spending that kind of money it should be for somethong that will last for quite a bit. Do you have a pro?

the difference between 9.7 and pro 9.7 (god I hate apple's naming scheme) is not that big, just the laminated display,speakers and like 20% processing power but the 9.7 have a bigger battery. no I don't have one but my friend have the original 12.9 ipad pro and god I LOVE the speakers! he did love the keyboard but not the pencil. he bought the pencil for $99 and forgot about it 3 weeks later. so i'd say if you love drawing or writing, then go for the ipad pro with a pencil if not better stick to the keyboard albeit a bit more expensive than the pencil

7nda Sir I'm a S7 user and even I admit samsungs tales have really gone down hill since the Tab S 10.5. There's no tablet optimised apps on android and they're just generally slower than the Samsung phones. Whilst apple usually have more powerful chips than the phone counterpart and not to mention way more ipad optimised apps. Only good thing is the screen, love the super amoled on my Tab S 10.5 but mainly use my ipad pro 9.7

samsung makes good phones but these tablets are a joke, their software and app support is a joke. Apple's ipad pro 9.7 (which this is essentially aimed at) is much faster in day to day apps, has far better speakers, better screen. If you're looking at a tablet for daily use watching movies, youtube, playing some mobile games and reading news, ipad pro will just be much better and faster at all of those things. And you might want to give arguments behind the claim that you've made.

Howmuch? I wouldn't say it has a better screen. Super AMOLED panels are amazing and I can't wait for apple to use OLED. I'm not saying the screen is bad, it has amazing tech in it like true tone displays and DCI-P3 colour gamut. But everything else I agree with.

Don't see a point in paying the same price as an iPad Pro with software and apps that aren't optimized for tablets, and updates that will be far and few. I had an iPad mini 2 and it's been updated all the way from iOS 7 to 10. I doubt Samsung will support this for 3-4 years.

Nick Eddy _I've had a Note 3 for 4 years lol and it never got slow. TouchWiz never lagged, no lag spikes and I never used phone cleaner softwares. After I updated my iPad Mini to iOS 9 it was horrible. Browser performance, horrible. Gaming performance, horrible. When it was on iOS 8, buttery smooth. I used an iPad cleaner named *Battery Doctor* It helped a little. Switched to chrome twice as fast. Gaming is shit. It cant even run basic games, like *Smashy Roads: Arena.* It used to have a *AntutuBenchmark* score of 40,000. Now It has a score of 16,000. Now I got a Galaxy S8 and thats my new phone. The iPad is so bad I had to use the Note 3 as my tablet. I payed fucking $300 for that shit excuse for an iPad.

Finally received my tab s3. So far I am insanely impressed. Also I'm in love with the S Pen! Just a note that if people ordered the silver version and find the s pen slides a lot on the screen then it seems both colour pen tips are made of different materials. The black tip has much more friction compared the the white tip which slides across the screen very easily

Dylan Robertson apple does not have all these features on the iPad. only recently apple got the split window which they stole from Samsung. Samsung had this feature on there phones since the s3. Apple doesn't have the floating window feature. it doesn't have the blue light feature nor do they have a secure folder. Also samsungs screen looks far more better than any ipad with the hdr builtin for watching movies. if you look closely Samsung hasn't stole anything from Apple apple has been the one stealing.

This tablet costs as much as the iPad pro and comes with more features and a small pen. which the iPad pro does not and costs 100 dollars more for the pen. so if you look here you can see which is the better. you should do your research before commenting false information

Yobachi Reynolds i think you've forgotten that the ipad pro's screen has a true tone display so its much more easier for the eyes.also i dont really trust products with free stuff like the pen because recently i went to a microsoft reseller & tried the surface pen and guess what the surface pen quality is really horrible.software's glitchy,can't use the clicking and eraser function,pressure sensitivity is horrible.

Twisted Runner5929​​ True tone vs AMOLED display that would be a good video. But still with Samsung's software you can tweak the display for your needs so if your eyes are bothered you can still change it for a much softer view. Aka Blue light filter and other display settings. And for you to compare Microsoft pen to Samsung's s pen would be completely flawled since you clearly have not used it. Microsoft pen is not like the Samsung's pen you could obviously see the difference between them in there uses and the pen is not free. It does as much and more than the pen for the ipad. So I honestly think you've forgotten what you just watched in this video.

Bob Le That's exactly the point why don't Samsung do an effort on giving ppl something different beyond the OS? They don't risk on designing something new and different, they just use Apple products as a start point. As Tim Cook once said 'we don't care about competition but we want ppl to create their own stuff' which means they can compete, but with their own ideas, Samsung d not even create the OS they just pay Google for licencies.
