Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Review: A Large & Affordable Screen?

On a side note: look at this great red notebook at 1:00. I once was in Frankfurt, Germany and got one for myself. It was such a good experience that I seriously used to take it whenever I was going somewhere. Sometimes it's weird how a single paper product can be so exciting but the fact is: later in my country I bought several notebooks of the same format but they were nowhere near as cool and I still have a couple laying on a shelf.

I love my tab s7 so much. I can see value in the tab s7 fe, but it's so expensive and lack some features. Great as a multimedia/gaming device though.

@@midoriyaizuku5675 have you checked the price for S7? If the price difference isnt that great and you can afford it, go for tab s7. However if you prefer the bigger screen, s7 fe will still do it

@@midoriyaizuku5675 I got mine directly from the Samsung website for $349.99 plus tax, thanks to the $250 trade-in discount via the Samsung Trade-in Program. I came from the original 2020 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which was showing its age. The Tab S7 FE’s LCD screen was bigger and better than the Tab S6 Lite’s. The overall performance was better on the Tab S7 FE. On the other hand, the Exynos 9611 chip in the original Tab S6 Lite was simply too slow and too weak for even the most basic tasks such as Web browsing. The Web pages loaded up more quickly on the Tab S7 FE.

I just bought this Tab S7 FE just the other day. It's coming tomorrow....and I can't wait. 🎉 Since I plan to use it as secondary tablet for KZbin and Netflix (and Prime Video, Disney+, etc.) and for reading my Kindle ebooks -- reason why I decided to go with the 256GB version -- I already know it's gonna work great. 🤩🤩

An important detail that few people know is that the wifi version has a different CPU which is much faster and almost on par with the S7+... The reviewed one was the 5G version, which is more widely available, but a much worse deal...

Yeah true. But samsung doesn't mention it anywhere that the WiFi version has SD778g which makes it difficult for me to make the purchase. I need to know if they are selling the 778 one in the Indian market. Tried contacting customer service but that didn't help

the s7 fe wifi has better specs for $530, yeah not as cheap as i expected but its sure better than the tab s6 lite when it launched in indonesia, $504 for 128gb/4gb

I'm a big fan of your channel. Does dex work on the monitor on the s7fe?? Because dex did not work on the monitor for tab s6 lite. It works on the tablet itself. So is it the same for the s7 FE.?

Hi, thanks for the wonderful reviews, especially the comparison video between S7 FE and honor pad 8. Also the screen angle comparison part was extremely helpful for us. These panels are marketed as IPS but you can realise the color shift as you change the angle. Similar, but lower shift also happens in Honor Pad 8 as well (You can see it in your video-review). This tablet is severely overpriced in my opinion. I have an S6 lite which I love and it had similar performance compromises but it was released at a much more attractive price. Samsung, we're just coming out of a pandemic so stop overcharging your fans

idk but the current price in Malaysia for s6 lite 64gb is $341 us dollar while s7 fe Wifi 128gb is $442 (after applying the student discount) i think the price gap are not so far and thought of buying the s7 fe... Do u think it worth it?

You are the first person who mentions video rendering. can you elaborate? i shoot 1080p ultra HD, 2k at highest! can this tablet handle this?

It depends on how complex your video editing projects are. But simpler edits at up to 2k should be fine. My render test is a simple 9 minute 4K video that I'm rendering without any edits. However, every iPad will be much faster

You’re right about the CPU. The Wi-Fi version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU, which is more powerful than the 750G chip.

Pass, way too pricey, especially since there's no 3.5 jack. I can live without 4 or 8 speakers. I take it the keyboards are Bluetooth so USB OTG won't be disabled when docked to the KBs like how pin based KBs do. The 750G should be good for a few GameCube games, my phone has a 720G.

the wifi version has a better soc tho, the snapdragon 778g/sm7325 instead of the snapdragon 750g/sm7225 also i heard the wifi ver. performs almost as good as the tab s7/s7+

The screen size is amazing but it's the price of a mid range laptop computer. This is just not cost effective unless you regularly have $1000 of disposable income. In my opinion, if the S7+ was the price of the S7 FE then it would be a no-brainer purchase, or if the FE was about 350-400 dollars. Now all I need is Lenovo to release a 12.5," tablet with a laminated OLED screen, android 11, 90hz refresh, and dedicated desktop screen extender support for 550 dollars. Come on Lenovo...I know, but a guy can dream, right?

DONT BUY THE TAB S7 FE 5G/LTE $650 for the snapdragon 750g the wifi version has Miles better performance, the snapdragon 778g on the wifi version of the tab s7 fe is really good, almost as powerful as the tab s7/s7+, they dont state it on the website but on amazon, the specs are stated that the s7 fe wifi uses a much MUCH more powerful sd778g for $530 but you can get the s7 for less than $600 so idk you can go for that
