@RobertBrownCyberboy109 I thought Linux users love freedom. you'll pick the ipad just for the Apple logo? FYI, I also own the ipad pro 2020 I haven't picked it up ever since I have the tab s9. I used it for 2.5 years and it was a horrible experience. it gets really hot when gaming and wont charge even in the middle of day on idle it warms up and after ios 16 update it wont charge when warm and i get the stupid charge on hold message, the file manager is horrible, when uploading something or downloading from any site or drive that is not apple icloud it will cancel if you minimize the app or close your screen, I cannot customize it the way i want to, multitasking is just not at the s9 level, the battery life is not on par, there is always an extra step for everything, no swipe to go back i have to stretch my finger to the top to go back in apps, if i am working on an image or video the system automatically duplicate it cause you have to import them to those apps and after that when you render you will have 3 of the same samples lol, a whole lot of small things that makes the experience just goofy. inagine you need M1 and abotve to get more than 4 apps on screen with stage manager ( stage manager is a joke) pen hoover and external monitor support, that is goofy as fuck. But you can have your Ipad it's your money.

The cameras are amazing for meetings and video calls. I love my tab s9ultra and i use alot of apple and samsung products. I actually sold my ipad pro 12 inch model because the versatility on this beast is just amazing.

I loved doing meetings on the tablet. Compare to doing meetings on a windows computer, the camera is better, the audio is better, I am not tempted to do other thing while in the meeting and I don’t have to charge the device in the middle of the meeting

~ 8:27 I would disagree. I have been an avid Surface Pro user since the Surface Pro 3 days. I regularly use mine as nothing more than a tablet. Especially when on the move. What I love is the ability to stop, flip the keyboard down and bam, I have a laptop. I have been tempted to switch to a Samsung tablet, unfortunately MS Remote Desktop, which my company users for remote access to internal networks, is not supported on Android devices. Atleast not at my company.

im a student and i bought a used ipad pro m1 earlier this year for school, though i was really considering the tab S8 since i primarily use windows and android. There was just enough cons to push me toward the ipad in the end, but if this was available at the start of the year i think i definitely wouldve gone with the S9. I cant wait to see a deep dive into dex and thank you for showcasing the prowess of the tab S9 ultra. Hopefully this tablet does well and can drive further improvement from other android tablet manufactuerers moving forward. I absolutely hate the lock-in approach Apple takes with their eco system and this video keeps me hopeful for the future. Cheers!

The rear camera is for taking documents. It has AI upscale the text to be more sharp and clean. Using the scaner app is recommended.

It's funny how people in the comment section always mention media creation tools as if most consumers use those tools on their tablet. I would bet most people just use tabs for media consumption and surfing. So if you use content creation tools, you more likely go with the iPad but if you just want a tab for surfing and surfing, hell you got more options to choose from. Good for everyone :)

I have iPad Pro 9.7 inch and I really want to switch the tablet. But also replaces my macbook (my macbook is still working well). Thanks to Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with Dex we're now at the point where the answer to the question of "can a tablet replace a laptop?" is that it depends on what you're doing. In other words, it's almost there. There are quite a few things that are easy enough for the tablet like the S9 Ultra to handle, but there are still a few things that may be too heavy of a lift. I wonder what future generations will offer. Perhaps if Samsung made a slightly thicker and larger - albeit heavier - tablet offering more high-speed RAM capacity and more capable processors, and larger battery capacity to account for it, then it could really replace laptops. I, for one, would love that. I think the Snapdragon X Elite may be the path forward. It seems to be just around the corner now, instead of years off.

If only I could find a tablet of this caliber that had 4G/5G LTE support.. that's the conundrum I'm having atm. I'm a trucker and looking for something like this, except with a cellular plan attached like a phone. Mainly for watching video content, web browsing, and photo/art editing. Would be awesome if someone offered a portable 12-15" OLED touchscreen, with a dock slot on the back for a phone. I've looked into some of the portable monitors as well, though I haven't quite found what I'm looking for. I'm kinda hunting for a niche in a small limited sector. 😅

Yet another Apple user who completely ignores 1. Samsung's ton of amazing customizability features 2. Android having 900,000 more apps than iPads 3. Android having tens of thousands more free apps than iPads At least you kind-of-addressed the free pen, covered Dex and OLED screen

I like and appreciate the customisation features as much as anyone else but at the end of the day, you get a tablet to get stuff done. Once you are done customising it, the rest boils down to apps. Even if Android has 2 million more apps, a plethora are resized smartphones versions or mediocre ones, hence the reason iPad is a sales chart leader. It is obvious people don’t mind paying for high-quality software. Free software ≠ good software. I much prefer the hardware and even the OS and customisation of the tab S9U, yet I’m sticking with the iPad, because of the apps.

@@ThisIsE What are you talking about? iPads only uses resized iPhone apps. As for sales leader, Android has 71% market share to iPhones 29%. Please share any video anywhere showing iPads have "better" apps than Android (you'll need to define what better means first). You can't find a video because their isn't a single one video on the internet (just a bunch of KZbinrs making unsubstantated claims). The reality is Android has more apps, more free apps (which are empirical facts), and they have better apps (which is just a personal opinion). If the future don't debate STEM people unless you can develop a testable hypothesis, define your variables in the hypothesis (i.e., better), measure the variables, collect data, and offer some type of statistical analysis on the data you collected . You are welcome for the free education.
