While Samsung’s next Unpacked event has been on the docket for quite some time now, leaks regarding all the products the company is expected to announce at the event have been drawing attention. In addition to foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the latest Galaxy smartwatches are also expected to make a splash at the event as well, alongside the all new Galaxy Ring wearable. Today, an official teaser for the upcoming event has been revealed by Evan Blass, confirming the date, as well as the time. Just yesterday, we got our best Hands On look at the Galaxy Z Fold 6 yet, the video clearly showing the design shift from its predecessor.

Not even close mate. Chinese folding phones are wiping the floor with Samsung at the current moment. Go look up something like the vivo x fold 3 pro- thinner, better hardware, bigger screens, flagship cameras 100 watt charging with an included fast charger in the box- double the screen brightness at over 4000 nits (which is insane) and a far greater battery. Samsungs taking the apple route and it's a damn shame. My last phone just broke and I'm waiting to see if they release a z fold 6 ultra otherwise I'm switching brands.

@IamThePreston I believe @fr3shSwag has a valid point. Yes the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has all that features, but after that, then what? What will they bring as upgrade in the next generation? I know Samsung will get there, they could now if they wanted to, they're just taking things slow so as to have something to offer the following year.

My OnePlus open beats my z-fold 5 in literally every metric, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was way over hyped, I heard some reports early on saying that it was like 40% better than Gen 2, yet I have actually seen the Gen 2 chip do some processes more quickly and open apps more quickly than the supposed amazing Gen 3. So I'm definitely not changing from the open to this when it comes out

I guarantee that if you pull out a the s22 ultra and my 2019 Z fold 1 anywhere at the same time, without knowing anything about the devices or specs, more people will compliment and ask questions about my fold 1 than the S22. Outside of tech phone geeks, no one cares about specs. It's all about what's hot. And folds are the hottest devices out there. Also, no one can tell fold 1 from a fold 5. That's why I don't buy into any of the pretention in the comment section. You guys don't live in the real world and live on planet bananas😅

I am a real fan, up to now I am really disappointed about Samsung, about foldable phones, especially about upgrading the hardware of the camera or the width of 2 main and secondary screens, from z fold 4,5, to now z fold 6,3 years in a row and that long time is enough to know that it is not enough compared to Chinese companies such as oneplus open, vivo,huwei and google pixel (USA) even more than that, I think Samsung should stop the idea of screen phones The folding is just right. Too bad and outdated. It's really sad to see my favorite phone company become like 😢😢

The only thing that's stopping me is nostalgia of samsung pay (shut alot of people up with that feature), watch with the rotating bezel (sooo perfect for a watch), and the superior software. If not for these, I would be gone. The foldable for samsung is REALLY lacking. I'm very disappointed.

​@TheHoldersCook it will happen within a year. Depending on how much times you open it of course (I open mine alot more than probably most people so take that with a grain of salt). You do have a year warranty if that happens but I suggest you get an insurance just in case. Like the other comment says, GREAT conversation starter and do it all phone. The price is ridiculous though.

Went from the fold 3 to the OnePlus open because the front cover display is too narrow. I still find myself using the inner display more than the outer but on the Samsung, it was very frustrating. Putting them side by side , its funny how narrow the fold 3 was.

That's how it used to be. Companies used to wait at least two years before another major release from the same series. After the S6/S6 Edge was the S6 Edge+ or the iPhone 6 series then the 6s series. We know not to expect any major upgrade or changes after a major release. It's changed now, and that's why people expect new changes and upgrades every year
