Just bought the Gear S2. I wanted the original Gear S but they don't sell it anymore, brand new. I do dig this one though. It looks pretty slick and I like the rotating bezel. I just don't like how Samsung is becoming like Apple with their proprietary stuff. Seems as if the Gear S2 has trouble connecting to anything other than a Samsung phone. Also, it would be nice if you can actually read notifications for Facebook and such. They need a bit more expansion on these apps which will probably not happen, unfortunately. Overall it's pretty good as a supplement to the phone.

+andreww1212. Thanks for sharing Andrew. I glad you like the smartwatch. I agree they need to do some more work with the apps. Its good to voice your opinion so Samsung knows what people are looking for in these products. If I do another video update on the Gear S2 I might share your comments with your permission.

it does have a speaker though. I call from mine all the time. talk into it and hear from it. works great

I have been receiving calls and it anwers it automatically how to change that.

I don't think the wat h can do that unless the phone settings allows it. I would check the call settings on the phone to see if there is anything there that could be causing it. I will do some research as well to see if there might be something I'm missing. I'll. Update if I find anything.

I think that may be the reason for the issue. It is not unusual to have these types of issues when you are using a non samsung device.
