Samsung Jet 70 Cordless Vacuum Review: This one SUCKS..well!

I don't usually review home appliances but there's always a first time, am I right? I personally use a Dyson V11 Absolute at home so I thought this would be a good reference to the Jet 70.
Let me know in the comments what vacuum cleaner--cordless or otherwise, that you use and if you would consider an upgrade to your setup.

the neighbor have it, he complains about poor battery autonomy ! I would NEVER pay 400$ for a battery vacuum cleaner, I use a Makita (139)$ that has a battery compatible with all tools ... and I am satisfied !

I did touch on some key differences between the Dyson V11 vs the Samsung Jet 70 in the video, although not a full on comparison video ;). They both have distinct advantages and disadvantages in terms of weight, handling, cleaning methodology, noise levels, accessories. Personally, I tend to side on the Dyson overall. The Clean Station for the Samsung is interesting though

Dyson. I had the Samsung and it was defective. I then went and got the Dyson Animal and it’s been amazing. Only draw back is the dirt container is v small.

I buy the samsung jet serie 70 and I'm very disappointed because the battery doesn't work more than 5 min at maximum and I ask why need the max opsione when we can't use it, please why????? It was the worst purchase that I made !

I need a hoover that is good to collect my hair, the one I have (John Lewis brand) the hair wraps around the brush. Do you know if this would pick up the hair?

The clean station is the “put off” it suggests you need it, and at extra cost and buying bags etc. Plus its stupid looking and takes space. The dyson suggests you just empty it in a bin bag..Job done!. Good review tho!

I agree on all accounts. The one true advantage is it mitigates the dust cloud problem, something the Dyson can suffer from if you’re not careful in emptying the bin

Avoiding Xiaomi vacuum cleaners as their batteries seem to be on a timer before it just dies for no reason. How is yours holding up after one year?

Am seriously considering this vacuum after your review but puzzled about something... on the manufacturer website, the noise level (albeit A-weighting : dB(A)) is at 86 dB(A). But from your test, the max only goes as high as 75 dB raw measure... only asking because if it is in fact as the manufacturer stated to be at 86 dB(A), then i'd not be considering it. Would that be because of the distance you're testing the sound?

Great question about the noise level. Without any specialised equipment, I cannot qualify the accuracy of the simple tests I ran. I would think manufacturer specs will be more accurate although during testing it did hit over 80dB

Just got this model yesterday at Home Depot sale. I must say, the battery life is terrible. Used the small motorized roller for only 1 minute, then since it wasn’t working good, switched to the non motorized soft brush end for maybe 5 more minutes and battery was dead. This is after charging for 4 hours. Second time charging new battery. We were running it on the highest power, but still, battery life SUCKS!

That's because your running it on the highest. That will kill the battery quick !!! Keep it on the second setting . The highest is for them really dirty spots .

Ive had a jet 70 for 11 months now and its absolutely buggered. Motor mounts are all snapped (cheap as hell plastic) ans samsung warranty is lousy....nearest repair centre 1.5 hours away in a city of 2mill ppl. Never again samsung

This was a HUGE let down. Nearly $600 for a load of crap that cannot even lift a small piece of tissue paper of the carpet. Charge is dismal and the waste compartment always clogs at the point of extraction. The runners on the head also continually stop rotating and need on/off to reset. We will be taking it back and will exchange for what was my first choice being a company that actually make vacuums being Dyson....

I have this one it’s just heavy pushing around compared to my old Dyson I don’t have anymore. I use the high setting in my bedroom on the carpet. Mid on the rest of my apartment wooden floors. Wish it wasn’t so heavy! :( Also the Samsung doesn’t get as close to the sides of the wall Oh and I always rinse out the plastic bin after vacuuming and let it dry because it gets so dirty and yuck lol
