Great review, I just got mine before watching expecting it to be a basic vacuum being almost half off the price, then I found out from online testing that it's the best vacuum you can buy just below Samsung's bespoke jet, which is only barely better, though even that one is normally $850 on sale for $375 right now, amazing prices. Mine didn't come with any of the motor mini brushes though, maybe that's why it was cheap.

The Samsung jet 70 roller head that comes out... I need help in knowing how to take the roller Fully apart without breaking it. My 4 foot hair strands have wrapped in the detached roller, causing resistance of its spin. After every vacuum i remove roller, easily slide wrapped hair off, and reinstall. Hello, question re: filter(s) for the Samsung 90. Does it have a foam filter like the Shark brand ones? Because if so, small particles of hair (from hair cuts on the floor) would stick to the foam filter and near impossible to remove. How many filters does it have to remove and for washing?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
Well, I can't speak for the Samsung Jet 90 because I have the Jet 70. I do believe they have the exact same filters though. I know what you are talking about when it comes to the Shark. The Samsung filter is different and I don't have troubles cleaning it. There is a foam center, but it is wrapped in a mesh that keeps things like hairs from inserting themselves. There is the one filter along with the canister that you wash. It's really one of the easiest to wash that I have seen, and enjoy it for that reason. Here is a comparison video that I did with the Shark, Samsung, and Dyson. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5qkpmdoq6p-abM

In your opinion, will a stronger battery of a stronger Jet 90 model work on weaker Jet 60 ~ 70 models?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
I am not totally sure about this but I think the battery for the Jet 75 - 90 is a higher voltage. It would follow reason to think that since they have a higher suction rating. When I compare my Jet 70 to my Dyson V11 the Dyson has another cell in it. So, if I am correct the higher voltage battery, assuming it would even lock into the Jet 70 might overload the motor. Again, making the assumption here that it is higher voltage.

Great review!! Just wondering if we can leave it mounted in the charging dock at all times when not in use or if that isn't good for the life of the battery?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for the question. This is what I tell people when they ask about batteries. Leaving your device charging is not as bad as it was years ago. Now, just about any charger will drop down to a trickle charge when the battery hits full. Older chargers would not and they would continue to put a full charging force on a full battery so leaving it on the charger would absolutely destroy your battery. Now here is the thing, any battery has only so many charges in it. And that is actually broken down into how many amp hours / watt hours that a battery has. That is a combined number of both charging and discharging. So when a charger drops down to a trickle charge it does keep the battery at a full charge for you, but it does at a cost of the amp hours of the battery. Now it is a very small amount of charge, and very small amount of amp hours when doing so. So let me break it down this way. I use mine like once a week with an occasional spot run. So I pull mine off the charger when it is done. That is going to give me the best overall life of the battery. But if you live in a home that uses it much more often and when the users are done they would never think to check to see if it needs charging, then by all means leave it on the charging dock. I hope that helps answer your question. 👍 So glad to help! Thank you for watching. Check out hundreds more of our videos at www.aroundthehome.org

@@AroundTheHome1 Thanks for your response. I have wall mounted it and would prefer to store it on the wall. If you switch off the power at the wall the lights on the battery still light up when stored. I was unsure if this will cause a very low discharge. I only use it about once a week as well and for any quick clean-ups also. I had the Dyson v7 for 2 years and I kept it mounted in the charger and the battery is pretty poor now. Hoping I get 3-4 years out of the Samsung. Thanks for your info ❤️

The dirt bin seems small, how long until it fills up and needs to be emptied?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
It is small, but all of these stick vacuums have small containers. This one is no different. And after using a stick vacuum you realize that it is light and very maneuverable, but the trade off is a small canister. Now to saw how often it needs to be emptied might be hard. So let me give my example the best I can. My upstairs is about 1500 sqft. I have three dogs and 4 people in my house. I also have a cat, but he stays downstairs most of the time. I vacuum once a week, but while my German Shepard is shedding I normally do a mid-week quick sweep to get the floating hair. But on the main, once a week full vacuum of the whole upstairs I probably have to empty it 3 times. That might seem like a lot, but it only takes seconds to empty it when you get used to popping it off. This vacuum has really good suction, so it really gets all the dust and hair and stuff. So it will fill up faster then cheaper, lesser vacuums. I hope that helps.
