I would totally buy these, I own Samsung products, I don't have any wireless audio products, I do think these will sound amazing, but Bluetooth audio devices are not worth it. I had 2 Buds plus and after about 2 years they both had a very weird issue where the fit of them made them basically unlistenable by being too quiet. I tried so much and after cleaning they would run fro another month before not working anymore, and after watching DankPods' video about the Airpod Max, i told myself I'm not buying any more wireless audio products, they don't last that long. I would have bought the AKG N400 at their crazy discount but told myself i wouldn't, I really wanted to get the Sony Linkbuds too but told myself no.

This review is very on time for me as well because awhile back I lost the case of my wf-1000xm3s in a grab ride (good to know I made a good choice back then even before looking into audio stuff!). It makes me SO sad when I work out. IEM cables and moving machines are a terrifying combination. There's also this really epic thing that women clothing does and it's where they just don't have pockets. I'M LITERALLY USING RAYCONS RIGHT NOW TO SAVE MONEY AND I WANT TO CRY. I'll most likely be getting these when I have some money to spare. Though I'll have to look into other reviews and features of the buds 2 pros vs other TWS on the market since daily driving features like audio pass through and the ANC matters to me as well. I'm only going to be using wireless earbuds at the gym anyway. The care to review and explain things to beginners is definitely going to help a lot of newbies watching this and that's why I love watching your stuff. The quick comparisons to other ear buds at the end was also GREAT because I needed to know quickly without looking through all of your videos (and some of them aren't video reviewed here/on your dead channel so I'd have to visit your website). You should take hearing loss and your ear impedance into account as well, personally for me (21M) Harman IE is VERY shouty and does not sound neutral to MY ears. I owned a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 (non-pro) and I find myself using the "soft" EQ setting just to tone it down a notch, strangely I also happens to prefer Diffuse-Field with bass boss (aka ER2XR) over using AutoEQ to harman, I guess the upper mids is the culprit.

@@ggtest4468 I get where you're coming from but the clearly stated that he "Personally" enjoys Harman/brighter Harman and didn't find it offensive. If he enjoys it so be it, not need to relate with hearing loss etc. Harman is a PREFERENCE target people and not a end all be all for sound quality, I believe they only covered like 60% of their sampled listeners (of which are mixed between average joe and professional audio person). So in the end if you don't like it than its completely understandable. PS. I also find Harman IE shouty.

For me, spending $50+ on TWS is just a waste. They are easy to lose, the battery degrades over time, etc. So I've found a brand called Soundpeats that more than fit the bill. They are good sounding. The T2s I first bought got 8 hours of battery and looked good in black. When I thought I had lost a bud on vacation (I later found it at the bottom of my backpack) I got the Sonics. They are ugly with silver and gold accents, but they have a physical button and 15 hours of battery. Now the T2s are awaiting me losing a Sonic bud, although at 15 hours, I may be able to live with just one.

I got these, in part because of this review, but I'm a little confused how much people seem to like these. For pop, hiphop and edm these earbuds are honestly amazing and the bass is super detailed and clean but they are HORRID when listening to rock, metal or honestly anything that has a lot of detail in the mids. The mids are completely pulled back and muffled while the bass is super amplified in these earbuds. I guess this is because of the harman signature but even then, the way the mids are pulled back seems super extreme? I would really love to hear some else's opinion about this. I just don't understand why no one is talking about this...
@jk20047027 Жыл бұрын
Bud2 pro never pulls back on the mids in any way. If you look at its fr curve the mids are on the line the whole time, unlike the Sennheiser momentum series which pulls back a lot on the upper mids. Yes, you can say that buds 2 pro got a lot of bass following the Harman target, but most of the bass focus on the sub-bass it barely ever bleeds into the mids. So I just don't get where your complaints come from.

I use these with my iPhone and just to add in the user experience, it's fine. I used AirPods before this, the Samsung don't have "hey Siri" and other smart stuff that AirPods can do but they connect well, there is no Bluetooth disconnection problems and the range is also fine. However I have to connect them to a friend's Samsung from time to time so that I can update software and change settings like what does single tap/double tap does etc

Coming back after 1 year and tons of knowledge acquired to say, Yes! these headphones are the Best 'sounding' in the market. Ditching the V shaped EQ was unexpected, and so surprisingly good. Thanks again

Hey man, I have a question, I'm thinking about buying them but I feel like they're going to sound bad compared to a wired iems, what do you think about that? I have the kiwi ears cadenza and the moon drop chu 2 do you think the samsung galaxy buds 2 pro will sound similar or at least good like those two? And do you think they isolated sound better than wired iems?
@Kiwaloayo2 жыл бұрын
are these comfier in ear than the last model? the last models actually caused my ears to bleed from how weirdly shaped the earbud was and how it sat inside my ear.

hey crin, In your opinion, how does TWS compare to IEM + IEM Bluetooth cables eg Moondrop Arias + Moondropp Littleblack

After the software updates to the Buds2 Pro in early 2023, they’ve been sounding quite harsh in treble. The update somehow changed the tuning to be so bright that it’s almost sibilant, so I have only been able to comfortably listen to them on Soft. Would you be able to make an update video on what you think of the Buds2 Pro now after the latest updates?
@kurincc11 ай бұрын
Yes it sucks, I measured it with a coupler+pinna and there's around 10db extra treble 9khz+ vs 5128 delta with a deeper fit (and only with a deeper fit). The Dsp does some weird stuff with certain fits

Do and compare with the Panasonic RZ-S500W too.

I have the Buds+, Airpods Pro, Soundcore Liberty Pro 2, and Buds2 Pro and I found the Buds2 Pro sound noticeably better than the others. Though I prefer the transparency mode on the Airpods Pro.
@chickenpasta73592 жыл бұрын
The one thing that keeps me with the Airpod Pros is definitely the transparency mode. During my job I’ll sometimes move around and have to interact with people and it helps a ton
@leonfrancis34182 жыл бұрын
There's a setting in either labs or some deep menu of the wearable app that allows you to fine tune the Ambient mode settings on the Buds 2 Pro to better suit your hearing. It creates the best transparency/ambient mode I've found on TWS, to the point I talk to the people and forget I have them in. No one talks about it because you have to find it though.

Just bought these buds 2 pros. Holy crap. Superior treble and detail. I now wonder why i bought the sony xm4s instead of these in the first place 😂 the best

Make a video on why your monitors are sitting so close to you and on the desk instead of having the highs at the same height of your ears (: If it is because of the 48" screen... then never mind (:

You can EQ anything on a Samsung phone with the sound assistant app.

!!!!!! iPhone USERS PAY ATTENTION !!!!!! Buds 2 Pro DOSE NOT have app support yet. You can only control ON/OFF, and Noise Cancel ON/OFF as of now with basic blue tooth connection.
@craigw71362 жыл бұрын
If you have an Android you can set everything up on that then connect to iOS and all eq settings, noise cancelling touch controls etc save and are used for the ios device.
@nickchurchill25722 жыл бұрын
@@craigw7136 This worked for me. Thank you for the temp fix solution! Now if Samsung can just get their sh*t together, and update the app...

Like Crinacle says, the passive noise cancellation sucks on the Buds 2 Pro. I just upgraded from the Buds+. The passive noise cancellation was so good that I could vacuum or whatever with them and just enjoy my music. With the Buds 2 Pro, I have to turn the ANC on (killing the battery) to get the same effect. I never had any desire to use ANC before.
@neelsn0072 жыл бұрын
Part of that may because they've added pressure release vents to the pro buds. So less of a plugged feeling but at the cost of less passive isolation

You led me to buy the buds + and boi!!!!! what a buy. From that point on, you've been the main source for audio. The pros, were a disappointing because of the fit, but I traded for the Buds pro 2....I bought two. I can sleep with them on, which make them amazing. Best buy, I got one for daily and one for my PC/sleep. Cant regret a the buy.
