What device is the motion sensor using to control your lights, is it a smart switch or smart lights. And which brand?

They're smart lights that are controlled through an Echo with the built-in Zigbee hub. The lights are Philips Hue and Merkury. I have the automations setup through Alexa routines.

So are you able to use your Alexa/google home as the “hub” or do you need the specific smart things hub to get the sensor to work?

Nope it works directly with Alexa as long as your Alexa has a built-in hub (like the older Alexa Plus or new 4th generation Echo), no extra hub required! I don't about Google Home though.

I connect both motion sensor and the light strip to Alexa Echo 4th gen but it seems like the motion sensor doesn’t work when I move around and the light strip doesn’t turn off. Im so tuck here. Any recommendations for me?

@@QuinnieD Hi Quyen! Can you turn on the lights with just your echo? I'm assuming you already created the routine for the lights to turn on when the motion sensor detects motion? Did you specify a time in the routine? Also, are you sure you did the motion sensor can see you and They're nothing in the way?

@@TechTimewithAdam yes, I can turn it on by Alexa. I create a routine from 6pm to 7am that the light strip On when the motion sensor detects and is that what you did on the video? I think the problem is about the sensor, although I connect the sensor to Alexa, it still blinking red green all the time.

i want a motion sensor without a camera...will put inside a locked cabinet and will like to get alerts when the cabinet is moved....all i need...i dont need camera...just detect motion of movement...what camera is good for this? thanks

Hi bro... I have a question, does this motion sensor work directly with echo studio which have built in a zegbee hub without needing the samsung hub?

Yes, as long as your Echo has a built-in hub you don't need the Samsung hub. But I think the Samsung hub gives you more functionality.

Guys. Finally I get my sensor synced with Alexa Echo Show after sesion with Amazon Technitians. I restarted my Echo Show and worked. I think some fix from Amazon for it.

You keep saying, "It's supper easy to set up", only problem is, you never showed us how you set it up. We saw what you set up, but you never showed us how you were able to do those set ups. All I know is it can be done..... I wish you had shown us more on how you did it.
