I just got this monitor yesterday and while enjoying 4k at 240hz isn't always an option, the gameplay and video playbacks are absolutely gorgeous and without equal. There are a handful of videos on youtube with this aspect ratio to enjoy the experience but you'll need a minimum of an RTX2080 to drive this. With my 3070 Ti it's keeping up, and upgrading will be a must in the future to keep this monitor running crisp.

Nah it won’t do the whole screen. With Xbox you will get black bars on each side. On a pc it takes up the whole screen😊

When you connect a console to this monitor you only get a 16:9 image. If the input is set to AV you can adjust the screen a little bit in terms of aspect ratio and zooming, but it won't do anything that you can take advantage of. You'll be able to stretch the image to cover the entire length but it will look terrible. You must set all inputs to PC mode to fully take advantage of the screen, so you can have HDR and FreeSync Premium enabled. Anyway modern consoles only reach a maximum of 120fps in certain games so you can't take advantage of the 240hz unless you game with a PC. Another thing you can do is plug a PC and a console at the same time in case you don't want to invest money in two separate monitors for the task, which is useful and clean, but that way you'll have two 120hz images, no HDR (it's a hardware thing it's impossible to have 2 different signals with HDR in a split screen monitor) and no FreeSync. But the games week still look fucking amazing no matter if you have to play with no HDR, I can tell. This MiniLED panel has so many dimming zones it actually feels pretty close to an OLED panel in terms of blacks and whites and that means it looks outstanding while having better brightness than an OLED panel. One thing for sure, if you portento to only connect a console on this monitor, took waste your money. For the same price you can get a Philips gaming TV with a MiniLED panel with ambilight and the correct aspect ratio for your console (I say the Philips TV in particular because it costs less and the ambilight stuff is gonna blue your mind when you try it while gaming).

It is not coolest.)) There is 57 inch neo G9, with double price and 8000×2000 resolution. (It's like combined 2 G8 neo). But to expensive. I bought G8 NEO with standard 16:9 ratio, and it's better for me than simple G9 neo 47. (Prices similar ). But G9 57 costs x2.
