Just an FYI, the QN90D uses a VA panel with a wide angle filter this year like the QN90B.

@@TechSteve The blooming & viewing angle tests make look like an IPS panel is because of the wide angle filter they use. It gives VA panels better viewing angles at the expense of contrast & more obvious blooming.

Why? Upscaling is meant for converting 1080p to near 4k it’s not for old content like that.

Should I pay extra for qn90d or buy qn85? In my country I can buy 65qn85d for the price of 55qn90d. I saw the difference is in brightness, but image processing and upscaling is the same

You could tap the screen with your finger and see if it lights up where you tap, since if it lights up it's the VA panel, the IPS never lights up where you tap with your fingers. On the other hand I think they added an ultra viewing angle film that makes the screen not have such a glossy finish, but having very good viewing angles, but seeing it with blooming in some cases, I don't know how bad it is to have better angles of vision at the expense of having flowering

It’s a Samsung you pay for quality and reliability. I paid 3500 for 75 QN92D still good price . They have the best game hub by far . The QN95D is too expensive 5500 for a 75 inch in Canada 🤯

Dang. It's $2400 Canadian on A'zon. I bought the 55" QN90B last February for $1800 using A'zon's payment plan... no interest. Unfortunately it's not available for this model... yet. 😋

@@TechSteve they have the regular APR payment option, but that's with interest. I think it's because I bought it after the QN90C came out, so they sweetened the deal to get rid of stock. There's no way I could've afforded it otherwise. ~$150 per month for 12 months was a lot easier. 🙃

I have a lot of content in VUDU & Movies-Anywhere in 1080p so it was great to know Samsung upped there processing game !! In future videos could you please address how older game systems might work with the gaming hub . I have a PS3 and I know I can use a PS3 controller , but what about the PS3 itself ? would a system that old work with this tv !!. Once again , a great video and a fantastic job with the unboxing and initial review , so looking forward to your full review , thanks again . O__ BTW , this is very high on my list because I use my current 46" Samsung F8000 ( from 2013 ) , not only for my main tv , but also for my Mac Mini . Although most say burn-in is no longer the threat it used to be , I still worry about it and with a tv like this I would not have to !! Super thanks , great job !! 👏 Take care , Dreamer 
