@2:35, you said that we can control the volume on the subwoofer using the samsung TV remote. Do you know if the other way round is possible - controlling the Samsung TV functionality using this Subwoofer remote? Have you tried it? Just curious......

Between the HW-R 430 and HW-R 450, which is better? I have the 430 coming at a cheaper rate here in Germany

there is difference in their total power. the HW-R 430's is 170W while the HW-R 450 can get louder, it's 200W.

I got one of these from a friend but she didn't have the subwoofer just the sound bar .so now I just have the sound bar with no cord or subwoofer can I use this without a subwoofer

Why Opticle fibre? We want HDMI & Internet connectivity to get Dolby Atmos sound.

i don't understand the "wireless" part. What is wireless, if you connected it to the TV via the optical cable?

The subwoofer is wirelessly connected to the soundbar but you can connect your phone etc wirelessly as well

If you have a samsung tv you can connect the soundbar to the tv wirelessly

@@pepumarius2006 It can connect wirelessly via Bluetoooth and actually it seems to work better this way (the sound is a bit muted when connecting via cable, at least in my case). When connected by BT you can still use the TV remote (Samsung as well, in my case) to turn the sound bar on (but sometimes it can take up to 10 seconds for the soundbar to power on - meanwhile sound comes through the TV speakers). The soundbar also turns off automatically after 20 minutes of inactivity (meaning you cannot turn it off using the TV remote) when connected via BT (not sure if the same applies when connected via the optical cable).

Hello. You need a optical cable to connect it to your tv. I don't know if there is a jack entry.
