The HDMI cable has nothing to do with latency. If it did switching to "gaming mode" wouldn't make a difference. Latency is based on the pixel response time of the TV and how much post processing the TV does to make the image quality "better". "Gaming mode" is better because it removes most of the post processing. HDCP has nothing to do with the HDMI cable, it's a digital protection to stop people from recording copywritten content. The Xbox One S that you have only supports 4k output for video content and the UI, not for games.

@@drecito4778 it won't work,game mode is its own picture mode ,always use game mode because it gives you the pure image coming straight from the console without extra processing crap and an incredibly low input lag for online multiplayer games.

There’s just one more game option on the TU8000 every else is the same

Tu8000 has game motion plus. It helps with screen judder for rpg games but increases input lag, which means it's bad for shooting games. Most people recommend turning it off which means it's a redundant feature.

The differences on the tu8000, just so you make the right choice for you, is an extra usb and hdmi port, game motion plus, a portrait feature for when you're not watching tv and a newer style remote.

I have this tv for my xbox series s, fillowed tge calibration but somehow the picture quality is always blown out, its still too bright even if Im in a really dark are of the map, its still looks like wasged out grey and grainy instead of pitch black.

The brightness will be the same on the TU8000 because TU7000 has the same screen if you want a better and brighter screen go with the QLED series

What if it’s showing the wrong colours for certain things? For example I’m playing Modern Warfare 2 & when the enemy’s name pops up it’s showing up in a yellow colour instead of the red that it’s supposed to. I just bought the TV 2 days ago. All other colours look normal in game besides the thing i mentioned & I have everything at default settings so it’s not like I messed up the Color myself. I have it set to game mode and I have HDR enabled when supported. Is there anything I can do to fix this or should I just return it?

What's up Brother, I have the 6 series UHD 4K Curved Smart TV MU6500 and I love it. I was looking at a video the other day, where the person that was running the video said I can turn off the HDR settings and put PC mode on my Xbox series s and get a better picture. I did this he's. Question is, he this particular model does not do HDR, so he just in off on Xbox Series S 🤔. It looks better than I thought it would. I'm going to purchase the series X and a 2.1 TV that can handle everything that's my next step. If I can get my hands on this series X in November 🤔
