I love this camera! the only negative thing for me is when you use the timer, you have to set it again manually everytime you want to do a retake . but overall it's great! 😊

This looks like a very nice camera. Is the String inside the camera tripod mount hole plastic or metal(in which I can screw it in and out of the tripod as much as I want without the string getting worn out)?

micro sd cards usually come with an adaptor to sd. which could make them more versatile than standard sd cards-depending on your use. there is no external mic jack-most point and shoots won't have them. there is a 1/4-20 mount at the bottom for tripods. he shows a video clip to show 1080@30fps which is pretty decent.

Hi, just bought this, for many of the features you mention, very easy set up and off you go. With regards to your blog, which I did appreciate, thumbs down to the backing music/soundtrack, for me it masked some things you were saying, making it difficult to pick up on some things, this probably only applies to some people but something to consider.

Would you say that this camera would be good to take clear quality photos at a concert from afar? They don't allow DSLRs when I go and I really want some nice quality pictures

For night concerts I would suggest an APS-C sensor size camera, like Samsung NX3000 or Sony NEX with longer lenses. More expansive, however I can't believe in a good result at night with such a small sensor like WB350's.

+Richard Sarino Hi Richard! One way you can get around this is push the small button on the upper left hand side of the back of the camera. That button will open the pop-up flash no matter what.

That could mean that the battery is low. But if your battery is fully charged; try turning the camera off, taking out the battery for a couple minutes, then reinsert it and try it again. In my experience that usually helps.

Oh boy, that's not good. And that could be caused by a few different things, not necessarily your sd card. You might want to take your camera into a store to get it looked at.

+TheNinjacanadian Thanks for your question! The night photos for the WB350F are ok, but not spectacular. The photos taken at night will look fine, but they probably won't be anything to write home about.

+TheNinjacanadian We don't mind at all! In our video reviews Shane Drummond says that the Sony RX series are the best point and shoot cameras out right now. You really can't go wrong with any camera in that series.

Those two cameras are very close in overall quality, they just have different strengths and weaknesses. For example; the Sony has better image quality, but the Samsung has better shutter speed and max aperture.

No offense, but it would have been nice had you pointed out more features of the camera (like the full Manual modes, for example), instead of sounding rather condescending about it "being simple to the point where you don't have to think". If I were to guess, you actually DIDN'T like this camera at all, because it didn't meet your magical DSLR requirements. I think Samsung should be commended for making an inexpensive camera with this many features, to include a touch screen and wifi capabilities. This is the direction all cameras are heading, whether you are stuck in the prehistoric ages (ahem, Ben Shaul), or are open to the exciting advances in photography.
