I really wish I didn't jump those fences, and also wish I didn't show video of it. Not a good thing to do. But we live and learn right?

Yay thank you! Oh wow this is 3 years old now how time flies eh? I got a lot better with cameras since then. One thing this video did well was the maps, maps are so helpful to people wanting to learn about a place.

@@MattCookOregon Agree. It's a learning process and the map was a great addition! Just ordered a new desktop with 32K of ram and a graphic card which should help my editing. I'm getting ready to launch a new channel which will present all my business content. Keeps an old guy busy and still hiking!!!!

@@lynnnorthrup8914 Awesome let me know when its up. Video editing and PCs? Two of my areas of expertise! I built a monster of a computer about a year ago, also 32 gig ram. One thing I have found to be most important is the hard drives, speedy hard drive makes reading tons of hi def video smoother.

Oh nice. That is a good part of the coast to be. This video is so old I can't watch it! I am heading that way soon to get the lighthouses there on film.

@@lynnnorthrup8914 It is illegal at most lighthouses. Many are part of wildlife refuges. I will get some good footage though!

Thank you! Such a good area with many options to get away from the crowds. This video is a bit old and I should probably do some more over there.

Excellent nature trip guide! Really good use of the map and some beautifull inset photos. I hope to see the Pacific ocean some day, this video gives me motivation.

Awesome. This is definitely the best part of the Oregon coast. Being down South it does not get nearly as many visitors as the rest of the coast.

Awesome! Lots of good options there. All depends on if it is a hike in event or not. Maybe House Rock Viewpoint? Nice big open area that you park right at. If we are hiking in, Indian Sands or Secret Beach. Funny story we saw people making love on Secret beach from a cliff on our way in : )

For wallowas I have one on Cornucopia gold mine, wallowa lake tramway, matterhorn and sacajawea. Hells canyon would be cool, maybe floating down the river.

Nice video of our lovely area, but there is absolutely no beach access at Thomas Creek Bridge, to attempt to reach that beach would be a foolish endeavor indeed. China Beach is the one to hit for secluded beaches.
@MattCookOregon3 жыл бұрын
Yeah hike down wasn't a good word choice for Thomas Creek. There is a trail to the beach but you have to do a little rock scrambling.

Less people means less trash .Bull shit! less people at the beach means less people who can remove junk that floats in from the big ocean.like the cove south of the natural bridge .few people equals much junk.
@MattCookOregon7 жыл бұрын
I could see that argument being true sometimes. However on this day, I did not see any trash on the beaches that had far walks in. But I did see trash on the beaches that you park close to. This is because groups come in with all kinds of gear and food that can get left behind. If you go up north to Florence, compare the beaches in town to the beaches farther North such as Hobbit Beach. You would find that the beaches in town have much more people traffic and therefore much more trash.
