Korea really stepped up regarding tourism! A few years ago this kind of thing was unthinkable! Now technology and of course Internet helped a lot to put Korea on the map. Also thanks to K-Pop and the whole Hallyu (K-wave). Korean cooking class seems a good attraction as well. Good video!

Your description of what you were eating, and Davids practically made me know what you were tasting. Your cooking skills were great too. All in all, pretty slick for a real time KZbin video.

The cooking instructor gave you incorrect information about soy sauce and pajeon(pancake). Chinese, Japanese and Korean all use soy sauce but its taste and manufacturing methods are different. She also mentioned Koreans make pajeon when they expect guests, which are not true. They prepare jeon(mini pan-fried meat patties, seafood or vegetables) when they have a traditional party, ritual ceremonies or feast for Lunar New Year's Day or Korean Thanksgiving. Pajeon or Kimchijeon is just a snack or anjoo(side dish for alcoholic drinks).
@samuelandaudrey5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clarifying everything Sara. My experience having pajeon for the first time was when I did a hike and many shops at the bottom of the mountain were selling it. The style was a bit different. It was much thicker and it tasted so delicious after a long hike.
