Another great thing about Raiden Shogun’s boss theme is that it literally starts at the end of La Signora’s theme. We just finished fighting La Signora and her power as a Harbinger is NOT to be underestimated, but just like her theme, she was quickly and coldly taken out by the Almighty Shogun.

I love the phase 2 theme. This is when the true Raiden Shogun theme came out. Phase 1 makes for a great ominous, tension building pre-theme, but phase 2 (aka the Raiden’s theme) truly encompasses the character of Ei. Her emotions are hidden deep within every note and I love it. Her strength, resolve, but also fear, desperation and loneliness. The pain is evident. Props to the composer for creating this masterpiece, and thank you Samuel Kim for recreating it in your own style!

Something about this specific artwork and music piece combined. 0:00-0:56 (I dont know all the instruments, so i can only describe how I feel) So in the beginning, 0:00-0:12 Those heavy... based violins and the heavy humming. It feels so intimidating... "The Awakening of the Storm" before getting into the battle. The clear blue sky in an open grass field, the sky darkening as dark bluish purple clouds manifest. Light flashes (no sounds) from within those clouds as they slowly consume the entire sky, piece by piece. The wind grows stronger as the sun fades away. "Calm Before the Storm Moment". I remember hearing somewhere that a choir/humming style of music heavily is used to signify the gods, and the tone of the humming. It doesn't feel like some sort of "Here comes the All Mighty Shogun... Praise be her majesty" or something like that. Instead I feel a sense of DREAD, of saying "...Shes here...". 0:12-0:22 The flute brings forth a sense of self. Each resonating sound of this flute makes me feel small, insignificant in comparison in to the size of the incoming storm. That my power is nothing in the face of the flutes elegant dance. "I need to re-evaluate my decisions of being here lol " 0:23-0:28 A strike of lighting comes crashing down echoing throughout the valley. So loud that it shook the very air. A small taste of what is to come. And yet the soft tone of the music suggest that this small strike that vibrated your body severely is just a mere fraction of "her" power. 0:28-0:34 This repeating Low vibration of this heavy violin or maybe its called a Bass. Repeating the very same intimidation, a reminder that you have only seen the storm. Looking once again at your surroundings, that you are reminded that you are facing a God. Almost like this part is implying that she is coming closer. 0:34-0:56 Concludes it, a more orchestrated version of the flute part. But you can actually see the Raiden Shogun materialize closely in the sky above. Her arms, her legs, her body, all while the lightning strikes too and from here, signifying her Electro Resonance as the Electro Archon. This part really does ingrain the feeling of FEAR when listening to it. My example of this kind of fear: Someone facing the storm with high confidence, and smiles at any threat. He doesn't fear anyone, but rather is cheerful at all times when fighting. But when faced with this storm, his soul/heart doesn't crumble in the face of the Shogun, but his brain can feel everything. His brain is screaming to fear the storm, fear the blade, the shogun, And while he still smiles, he laughs and says... "Hah! Well would you look at that? I can feel it... The trill, This Fear is amazing! Haa Hah!!!" *Important* All while you just stare at the picture of the Shogun. Her clothing surrounded by the brightness and lighting, embodying her might and strength, but when you see her skin, it tells a different story. Down below when you see her thighs and hands they look lifeless, almost dead. Greyed out. The darkness surrounding her skin feels like her skin is withering from being the Embodiment of Electro. Yet that feeling of lifelessness makes you think "This immovable storm, will be merciless, she wont show any hesitation, nor any pity" And that look on her face, not as lifeless as her lower body, but rather of lack of emotion. Looking down on you from above, she thinks "Another one that dares to brave the storm, another one to foolishly succumb to weakness. The Raiden Shogun, the puppet that she is shows no other face, but only of the sole intention of striking you down. All of his combined with looking at this artwork... I don't feel myself in danger, or fearing the shogun. But its like the emotion of fear can be felt from the heart, you can hear the emotion of how it was presented in the Re-Creation. Like I could actually feel my senses saying, "Do you feel the sense of crying in the face of the Shogun" This is how I imagine the Raiden Shogun with the music you've remade and the artwork you've chosen. An actual surreal feeling of true fear Samuel, I love this work! Extra: 0:58 onwards, the battle theme. Truly trilling, like the battle of your lifetime! 2:38 onwards, that flute resembles something, but I can't think of anything for right now.

With the recent Genshin concert, we got a remix of the Spiral Abyss theme “Against all odds”, and it BOPPED (at 1:47:43 is where it went ham). It also made me realise that a Samuel Kim-ified version would probably allow us to fight God himself. Please consider it! :D
