One day, they'll make a game where Nobutada isn't utterly incompetent. I hope. Also, I wonder why they decided to have Honda Masanobu be an enemy in a lot of these stages considering he should have rejoined Ieyasu by now.

They made him not incompetent in a JP-only social game based on Samurai Warriors Basically Nobutada : defeats Mitsuhide at Yamazaki, convinces Hideyoshi he is the rightful Oda heir, convinces Motonari and Yoshihiro to work for peace alongside him and finally defeats Ieyasu at Komaki-Nagakute.

Masanobu rejoins Ieyasu after Nobunaga dies. Him being an enemy here is fine since he did rise up with Hisahide

I'm wondering why Masanobu Honda isn't a supporting character and the Sakon Shima of the Tokugawa army.

Although translation is shit, they finally add the characters other name like Jubei, Gonroku, Heihachi, Takechiyo etc. instead of leaving them out of translation.

Sometimes. They leave it out randomly, such as during Nobuyuki's officer encounter quote. You clearly hear him say "Kanjuro" but the translator just writes "Nobuyuki Oda".

Ah yes, when it comes to Koei's OG series translation they did shit. HOWEVER they did a pretty good job on spinoffs for some reason.

Yamanaka feels like Yue Jin from DW but harder to control. Unpleasant to use. Meanwhile the talisman users are OP Zuoci

I would like to make an order to buy this game but my friend said samurai warriors 2 is the best. so it got me confused should i buy this game or buy a secondhand ps2 to play samurai warriors 2. i'm traveling youtube and found this channel at the top so maybe you can help me cause i really have no idea about this game hehehe....
