Just over one year ago, I broke my left scapula and four ribs on the same side. Approximately three months after the injury, I began experiencing intense itching on my scalp. Eventually, I discovered that when I massage my left shoulder, I can stimulate the itch on my scalp. I have also discovered that when I massage both of my ears, I can also stimulate the scalp itch. Dermatology has been unable to diagnose the cause of the scalp itch. noteworthy, shave my head. Maybe also noteworthy, I have a hiatus, hernia diagnosed, and the same year prior to the cycling crash that caused the broken scapula and ribs. I am desperate to find the root cause of the scalp itch. Because it does not seem to be dermatological I have scheduled an appointment with a neurologist. Any feedback at all might be helpful.
