What an excellent representation of many aspects of our city. It is my hope that those who view this video will be interested enough to investigate not only Angelo but also the surrounding areas.

Joel Alvarez San Angelo is really a mellow town, and I love it to death- it's my hometown. before I moved (to Surfside beach) I was planning on going to Angelo State, and omg- you have no idea what a great town San Angelo is

It gets old living here and it has gone down hill alot with drugs and gang violence and just plain shitty people here

I haven't lived there in a very long time but overall it IS a nice place to live. It has a great mall that was finished in '79 and from what I understand, it is still thriving. The smaller surrounding towns have grown quite a bit to since I lived there. As any city, regardless of size, it will have its downfalls. If you really want a country town, check out BALLINGER; the population there has shrunk since the early seventies. They DO have a really nice city park though.

San Angelo is more poised for growth than it's ever been, and they need to develop a stronger growth plan. Thoroughfares need to be expanded and improved, particularly in the north. Y'all need more places that serve breakfast and lunch, especially in the south and southwest (but not limited to it). Your future is bright! I'll be visiting your city later this year. Looking forward to it!

I think the water park is right off of Bryant where it splits near downtown (over the river - is that Abe or Koenigheim? The side headed south, I think.

@Eddy the water park is "Love Municipal Pool" located at 18 E. Avenue A.. The pool is currently in its offseason, for more information please visit our website sanangelotexas.us look under Parks and Recreation for Love Municipal Pool or call the City of San Angelo Recreation Division at 325-657-4450.

Hummmmm born in Angelo, lived there until I was 17. The Concho is pretty now, if this wad videoed recently. I remember a year or two ago the City was struggling to provide water for it's residents. I pray rains upon the rivers and lakes for those residents rhat still call Angelo home.

True.. peaceful..but caution letting a Muslim moque in. Research Dearborn Mi. A few years ago a lady recruiting for Radicals tried to set up shop in san angelo tx..She got arrested because she was recruiting for extremist. In The Quran its Written Allah is from the lowest, and is the greatest deceiver. Everyone must be careful and protect each other as Americans against threats to the nation and God of the highest heaven.

Please tell your narrator that the correct term for mounted soldiers is "cavalry" not "Calvary" (which is the place where Jesus died). His consistent use of the incorrect word, although probably a slight error in the grand scheme of things, was distracting for some of us--to the point where I was unable to fully enjoy the otherwise excellent production.

It's irritating all right, but in my 70 years I would bet that I have heard this mispronunciation a minimum of half the time.
