I’ve always loved the blends from San Cristobal and this one is no different, the Elegancia is such an amazing cigar. It’s such an honor as well that every time I smoke a Revelation, to know that Mazz had a part in that blend.

Absolutely fantastic cigar. One of my favorites from SC and just one of my favorites in general. Now personally (and I'm certain I've explained this before) my favorite from SC is Ovation. Unfortunately the last time I had it, it didn't taste that great. But that was because I was sick and my palate was off. I know what Ovation is like when everything is right and it is Heaven in your mouth. Hope to see you do a review of it Mazz but otherwise, great review of the Elegancia!

I actually picked a couple of these up based on one of your other videos. Now my palate is pretty much "this is good" or "I don't like this" so I don't think I tasted all the things you did but it was a good cigar. While mine cracked when I lit it but I think it had more to do with it being 30 degrees outside when I lit it. An hour later and I'll definitely keep this one in the rotation. I'm also finding that cigar smoking goes well with reading. Now if I could just find a way to make it go better with winter.

Fairly new smoker, i have yet to have a connecticut i really liked. Ive had a few olivas (conn reserve, nub, flor de oliva), a few from random samplers and the rose of sharon. There just doesnt seem to be much there to me. Im gonna get an industry killer sampler and try those, if i dont like it idk if ill keep trying shades. Thanks for the ideas.

Taste is personal, Connecticut cigars might not be for your palate and that's totally fine. That being said, there a lot of Connecticut cigars available that vary in flavor and strength and you might just have to find the one for you.

I’m smoking my first San Cristobal XXL as we speak. Whenever I try something a new cigar I tend to KZbin you guys to compare reviews. I gotta say, I’m impressed. I’ve been finding myself smoking more and more Garcia made blends. They’re really clever at what they do. I was working with a Nicaraguan guy the other day that told me that Jaime Garcia taught him how to roll cigars and he had the pictures to prove it. Anyway, this cigar is chock full of rich flavor and I’m hooked. Cheers Mazz!

one year is minimum aging but most premium anejo tequilas will be closer to 2 or three years, I dont hate Cass noble but the fake coloring and sugars added are a bit of a turn off...too many great traditionally made tequilas to choose this...then again you review aromatic cigars so why not this! great video

Just tried the Robusto vitola. To contextualize the review, I’m a newly frequent smoker. The cigar had a super tight pack, difficult draw…borderline plugged unfortunately. I also don’t retro-hale (yet), so I know there’s a lot that was missed on the nose. However, I do agree with a lot of the comments made within the first 5 minutes of this video. First third, bland white-pepper dominant. Didn’t get any coffee or nuttiness on the palate. No sweetness. Low smoke quantity. Slightly wavy burn line. Solid ash. Second third, still white-pepper dominant. Still no coffee or nuttiness on the palate. Mellowed out slightly. Increased smoke quantity. Burn line evened out. Headiness picked up. Solid ash. Final third, still peppery with a noticeable decline in quality. Even burn line. Moderate-plus headiness, picked up noticeably. Solid ash. Overall, medium plus body. Lower than average smoke quantity. Pepper dominant. Best in the second third. Nothing special. Even with the tight pack, wouldn’t intentionally smoke again, and not box worthy in my opinion. Not a bad beginner cigar though.

Still a new smoker here but by far the Elegancia is my absolute favorite cigar right now. I personally don't like any pepper notes in my cigars BUT yes in this cigar,those pepper notes are very mild.

This cigar has really become one of my favorites. I usually pair it with a gin and tonic. I tend to be a thirsty smoker so something bright and refreshing really hits the spot

Back in 2005, I purchased 3 boxes of Monte Christo torpedoes white box, and my plan was to smoke one after dinner, but I ended up smoking 3 every day I found out that the more I have the more I smoke so today I go every day to buy one ( I know it's stupid but it's the only way to control my needs lol) I'm trying different cigars but I keep going back to the same ones.
