Move the walks to public parks where you don't need to cross streets. Try walking the dirt path perimeter of the Bonita Golf course. Try inside Admiral Baker Park grounds. Stay off public roadways. It's safer and you won't be obstructing traffic. Walk on the beach where people can join in at any access point.

@@jeffs4483 When govt is trying to or could try to, usurp the rights of its citizens by ignoring the Constitution and any other rights and laws already set in place, you have to think of ways to not call attention to yourself. There are several alternatives to the groups' current ways of gathering. Additionally, you have to think of how you can avoid stepping on the rights and enjoyment of others. SD Girls Who Walk and any other group that is clearly just a social mental health benefit friendship group should absolutely be allowed to continue to assemble to just walk. They became a very large group and could continue to see growth. It caught someone's attention and that person complained because they thought their rights and enjoyments were being violated. The govt is just looking to make some money by requiring a permit. That money is not enough to pay for a police presence during the gatherings. That's the next requirement the government will make, that the group must hire security. There will be more requirements to come.
