San Diego: I-5 Solo Crash 05182024

The female sedan driver left the traffic lanes while driving southbound on the I-5 for an unknown reason. She hit a freeway sign at the right shoulder next to the southbound Main St on-ramp, lost complete control of her vehicle, and crossed all lanes of traffic. The car hit the center divider and went a short distance, stopping on the left shoulder. Several Good Samaritans stopped to help the uninjured woman.

The problem was officer I was on my cell phone and couldn’t look up and finally when I looked up I was steering to the left and hit the sign but the good thing is my cell phone is fine 😂

Known reasons is that cell phone. That should be the last thing she’s thinking about. I guess she will be calling around for another car. Thank goodness no one was caught up in her shenanigans.
