Lack of salary cap in baseball is killing the joy.

A trade for Bo Bitchette would make more sense, they wouldn't lose their draft picks, and Bo Bitchette is only 25 or 26 yrs old and a superstar!!!

Giants have to get Sasaki to keep the Dodgers from getting him. If they don't get Burnes, and I hope they don't. Melvin has to find a swingman on his roster like Hjelle and/or Bivens who have the potential. Then, Giants can trade for starter at AS break.

@ I think one of the young starters could be a good swingman…. Roupp, Beck, Winn etc
@michaelmartinez35004 күн бұрын
@@SkatersonBaseball You were right about Soto. Beck could be swingman if his arm can stay healthy and he relaxed not being so stiff out there, and Winn could too if his arm stays healthy, but he seems to be more a middle reliever. Roupp could if he sticks on the big league roster.

Sabermetrics and the ZIPS projection system aren't exciting. It's a different way to try and nominate a mediocre, overlooked player(s) into a star(s) like Patrick Bailey. Sabermetrics have a fog index, and fans may stop reading and listening knowing starting pitching isn't the Giants biggest need. Watch the games and stop using advanced metrics to dub your favorite players elite when they aren't.

I agree with ZIPS on both Fitzgerald and Lee. Maybe I'm wrong, but I see Lee as about a .265 hitter with weak power numbers. Fitz is a 20-30 guy who can play all over. I would like Kim to come here for hos D and speed. 38 steals in 2023.

Giants the mystery team for Soto? More like the misery team

Dude, find your team's website and enjoy...no need to be an @SS to other teams' fans. Didn't your Mama raise you correctly?

@@GregHammer-f6nI'm a Giants fan lol, it's just a bit depressing after what happened in the past seasons and off-seasons to read/hear about being the mistery team when it's obvious we were never in the sweepstakes

Giants are a mystery team, because they haven't made any moves yet. Perhaps the GM Meetings will be the catalyst.

Bailey is not a star. He can only play half a season, and Moraga is not some distant place in the Bay Area. Its right next to Lafatette and Walnut Creek. Where are you even from?
@michaelmartinez35006 күн бұрын
Contra Costa county and Moraga is part of the Bay Area according to CalTrans, but those who live near the Bay may not consider Napa or Solano county the "Bay Area." Ben's and his intelligentsia may not consider that.

@@michaelmartinez3500 The Giants have a St Mary's night at the park every year. Without traffic, Moraga is like a 30 minute drive to SF. I don't know what Napa or Solano county have to do with it. I think Ben just might be a little strange?
@michaelmartinez35006 күн бұрын
@@compaglia Ok, that's great. Moraga's in Contra Costa and isn't that far from SF, but perhaps I made this confusing by bringing up what's considered "Bay Area." As for Ben, yeah he's a quirky dude saying interesting stuff when emotional.
