I’ve watched you long enough to know this is your favorite San Martin. I finally pulled the trigger, I got this with the pencil hands for $120 USD brand new (by shear luck). I will say I do love it also. So now I can say, Hi James, my name is James and this is my favorite San Martin also.

Mine came with the Green Travel case, I like it better than the plastic case. I have 3 of those from San Martin. This one was my first Green Case.

I go to the watch forums but seldomly. Everyone complains. Watch collecting is fun for me. If I have an observation I message San Martin and they always reply intelligently. The also give me a heads up when they implement updates and changes. Rolex has never responded to my observations. Right now San Martin is selling female endlinks ($10.00 USD shipped) specifically for the 6200 and said they will soon have pencil handsets. I like the large 🍭 second hand. With the faux patina it makes legibility much better. The gear cut bezel is very nice. I used a jewelers file to knock-down the edge slightly. I also used a Sharpie to blot out the 15 minute ticks to simplify the bezels appearance. I think you would like the blue variant of the SN008-G. Perfectly done!

I did see today that they have introduced the female end links. It’s great to see a watch company that listens to the customer. And yes. Hahaha I don’t think Rolex cares about our options.

Nice review! I got my 6200 back in April, and I think they've changed the amount/style of AR coating - mine doesn't have a blue sheen whatsoever! I absolutely love this watch...the only thing is I am always futzing with the springbars because I love it on both the riveted bracelet and my bond-style Nato strap!

I’ve heard there are different AR coatings. Must depend on when they were made.

Got that San Martin too, and this immediately reminded of that watch. The beads of rice bracelet is nice, and better then the riveted SN bracelet, but push pins🤮.

James I appreciate your reviews,no-nonsense,very matter of fact. Forgive me but I am not going to buy this one because it’s lug to lug size, and I will admit I was not specifically looking for it but I should have known with those end links. I could buy the female ones but too much hassle lol

Funny you should mention the sharpness of some of the edges I've reviewed a couple of San Martin's & both had the same sharp edge theme going on the bronze water ghost was the worst one, other than that I think they're great watches for the money that they are. Good detailed review.👍 Subscribed.

Nice review, just subscribed. I'm no 80 I think! It's a nice watch despite the inconsistent branding with a different logo on the dial and bracelet and then a shark on the crown. They should try to stick to one. The bracelet doesn't look like it's big enough for my 8" wrist. That's disappointing, but they might throw in a few extra links if I ask. Female end links tend to make for a neater look in my experience.

It is a fantastic watch. One of the best on AliExpress. The lume was really good. I can’t say an exact time but I was very impressed with it.
