The big difference is the spacing between applied markers and minute track. Not sure why? That extra space is the design element that makes the inspiration for this pop. !!

The 20mm lug width and applied logo suggest to me this is the SN021-G-B2 and not the B3. I got the B3 in green with the printed logo. The gold printed logo looks really good on the green (and in the pics I've seen of the black and gold) but I think the applied looks good on the blue.

Glad to see san martin actually listen unlike some other AliExpress brands. I think this is probably the best offering of this style I've seen to date. I'd probably sway away from this dial colour but the rest is great.

It’s a beautiful watch with good quality. SM prices are climbing fast, at $250 +, there are much better options. Islander watches, Seiko & others.

I bought some San Martin watches in the past but now the prices are no longer justified. If you want a good watch Made in Germany with Swiss movement I suggest Steinhart or Marc & Sons. The Qualität is really better.

@@roybrolsbeak when you get that San Martin with the SW 200 vor $250,-- you can order one for me. The price today with Selitta SW200 for this San Martin is € 507. I have 3 Steinhart. Prices were between € 400 and 600.

@@markukus5660 if you think you could get a watch with a sw200 for 250 you are dreaming. Sm budget movements like the nh35 and pt5000 have always been around 200/250 and its still a bargain if you ask me.

this is definitely the age of the sky blue dial... you will almost be able to date them by the colour ,50 years from now. I'd take out the stem and grease the tip lightly with the appropriate grease, they sell beginners' watch oil kits on ebay from time to time that have some 8000 and a bit of the right grease for like $20.

Hey, nice resolution and lighting in your video! Did you upgrade your production or just me? Great review as usual. The watch however looks somewhat boring to me. The screw down really should be smoother. I have a few San Martins and usually they're quite good value for money. You should check out Aragon watches though... I've recently become addicted to them.

Hey man, cool review and cool watch. Totally disagree about the preference of the applied logo over the printed one though. It is one of my major pet peeves with San Martin. A solid applied geometrical logo like San Martin's becomes a very dominant shape that very often (especially in dark backgrounds) clashes with other elements of the dial, such as the indices, and makes it unbalanced and too busy. It is far from discreet, especially when it catches the light in such way, where you see no details at all, just reflection. It is like someone has planted an actual silver plate on the dial. It is really really bad. The transparent printed logo on the other hand leaves more air for the dial and its important elements to breathe. It is definitely more discreet and organic. Maybe a middle solution would be an applied transparent logo, but please, i implore you, don't urge San Martin to continue with this totally imposing solid applied hexagonal nightmare...
